hey gordon, never seen you so optimistic before. been following this chat room and most of your past chats was sorry if i might say, "alot of moaning groaning over the falling value of oilex", and now it has changed to the opposite! great to see you getting excited over this. yes. i'm definitely holding as i see value in the bod, not the company. joe and his team, has demonstrated to me, that they can be trusted. look at AAOG and their demise. Good asset but poor management = **** share.

Hey gordon... they are very indecisive people. GSPC management did not know what to do with cambay. and when that happens, they choose to remain quiet rather than fixing the problem, thus gspc's behavior being baffling. I am in full view that oilex should farm out 15% of their share in cambay to their new jv, so that they can also focus on aus and uk projects. in my honest opinion, gspc is confused and lost. but we need to note that gspc knows they were going to lose the arbitration case, and remember that time when the gujarat pollution board even said oilex polluted cambay? so many attempts to displace oilex from cambay.
my best guess from everything that is happening with all the extensions that is happening is that oilex is confident in getting the unpaid cashcalls of 5.5million USD, thus them extending the projects ( note, they did not give up on it, they just need the time to get this unpaid cashcalls back which is very soon) to embark on the new projects -- something the previous bod failed to do. This is indeed a very exciting time for oilex, as we are finally going to see how capable the current bod is in turning the tables around for oilex -- to be profitable once again.
to add on, gspc is very quiet on things. take a look at their annual report. it's not even documented properly. i don't blame joe, and i give full credit to the board of directors of oilex to pull this company through, from the shams left by the previous, if i may say, disgraceful swines that aimed to steal money from share holders.
i give joe and his team my vote of confidence for trying to get us new, profitable projects based upon careful evaluation as one wrong move could really prove fatal to oilex. As I said, this stock is not one that is meant for the short term holders. I remain long for this stock, just give Joe and his experienced team your vote of confidence on this!
are u going to eat your words now gordon? with this new RNS?
@gordon give it to me, at least for today. I’m happy to see you thrilled about the share price action today! I do hope you live to be able to enjoy your profits from this share — sincerely from me! Cheers mate
Well gordon. At least I do know one thing! You have finally stopped grumbling!
perhaps equity financing, at a premium placing if the gain sustains
by the way, these are news readily available from the quarterly report! but yes. im hoping for full acquisition of another project!
Hey spike! from what Joe told me, he said management has plans to divest bhandut away! they do plan to tag along with gspc upon selling bhandut! bids will close by 31august! definitely not bhandut in this case! could either be the uk project, aussie project or cambay (hopefully). but looks of it, seems to be aussie!
Either case works for me as i am a long term holder. This just shows me investors are all just waiting. Onwards for oilex BOD
No cambay news imho. Acquisition was not for oilex to increase their share in cambay. It was about finding the right drilling partner, and gspc DIVESTING fully away from it. I’m more interested in the new project as it will finally
Provide a stable cashflow to OILEX. Board wants to drill it this year, subjected to funding and divesting of GSPC. GLA
Nice seeing you spike. I have been following this share ever since and talking to the management about it. Been caught up but this oil and gas company possesses something that other O&G companies lacks — a strong and functional management that knows what they are doing, give it time. This will be a good ride.
Trading halt now pending annoucement for acquisition! Let’s hope it is good news
If oilex BOD decided to fund the drilling via equity financing, I don’t see why not a placing. But, we can expect Bhandut to bring in some cash after their sales. And with the new projects the management is deciding upon, placing is mandatory— just whether is it at a premium/ dilution.
Agreed gordon. But if ( keyword if) cambay is finally resolved then, I don’t see why placing wont be at a premium
Exciting times ahead for Oilex. Find it very peculiar why Align is holding despite ceasing coverage. Seems like it to me that Align is solely interested in their own gains and with management not interested in their plans, things go haywire. Onwards for OILEX bod. I’m sure the quarterly reports will spark extremely good and robust news for Cambay.
reporting u to the fca. pls dont delete any of your messages. i'm definitely having u reported. have fun getting investigated. first u delude ppl into thinking we got cambay. now u change your intentions. oh kabaa. on a side note, i definitely do agree with u on this. but still, aint no chance for u to escape this reporting to fca. i'm going to get you reported for deluding investors.
rofl. have u ever considered looking in the mirror and asking yourself ? report by all means. we all know it's oversold. and it remains oversold. be a good joke and laugh at your headlines -- look whose misleading title deserves to be TRULY investigated by FCA. Dear kabaa, i state my pov, and my reasons. u can have yours and if ramping is your game, go ahead. I am a firm believer that gspc would rather repay the 5.2 million usd in cash than give it over to oilex. It's way cheaper that manner and they are not stupid. GSPC has over 20 million in their unaudited cash balance. that's right. do your own research before talking. they are in a far better position compared to last year with respect to cash balance. Still, without any commercialization of cambay (with gspc impeding this), dream on. this will only take off with a big IF any new/existing projects gets commercialized. Have a big laugh at yourself kabaa.
from the looks of tonight, it's pure p&d play. all speculative with no action. if there was action --> oex in asx would have showed but it roamed at 0.0003. GLA. for those that sold at 0.2p, good play. i remain a long term holder in oex, with little or no debt. a stable company with VERY strong bod. i remain confident in the bod to bring this share back up to at least 1p. in them sourcing for new potential projects and commercially producing cambay within 2-3 years. gla.
