Interestingly if you take the top 2 and the bottom 2 out it averages at 23.21p and if you look at the guess bang in the middle of the table it’s 22p mmmm I think that’s more realistic.

They do say that in a competition like guess the weight of the cake- the general public on average get it pretty well right- so even allowing for the thickies With the low ones like 50 grams and the over excited ones with 50kg you can add up all the guesses and divide them by the number of guesses ( finding an average) and that is normally pretty close.
Our competition average is 49.4p- I’d take that- infact I’d take that for a sale.
