Remember Friday 31/7 it went from I think under £2 to nearly hitting £3 before resting at £2.68 and that was on no news- when this goes it moves so quickly!

It is frustrating but unfortunately they can’t update us by simply saying hold tight folks we’re still thrashing it out and down to 3 in the ring and just trying to beat them up another 1/2 billion and we’re there.

I’ve just looked at the last trades- apologies if it’s been mentioned already.

If you were in charge of when you could drop the RNS when would you do it for maximum impact- 7am 5pm or bang it in the middle of the day- I think I’d do it after hours on a Friday if it could wait so that this board could talk about it all weekend about what we’re gonna spend the money on.

This is just the mm’s doing there job- making a market- it’s becoming stagnant hence the drop and I wouldn’t be surprised if we finish up.
I was thinking that the bod would try and hurry the negotiations up so they can announce something on the agm but then thought again- this is a multi billion pond deal so a few days here and there really doesn’t matter- in their own words “ we will not be rushed” I wouldn’t want them to rush and get a penny less than what it’s worth.
