But you understand a lot of investors are happy with Nm having significant control as they believe he would force best value for their shares.
And although you say your not Bhp aligned it certainly does look that way or at least aligned with a non friendly party.

Rk are you saying that Nm doesn't have significant sway within solg with the holdings he has and that Bhp would not like him out the way?

Agreed Dbw but it must be a factor if we are deciding to keep info for such a situation(low ball), showing Bhp the level of support held by Nm and openly showing Cgp is on side.
To me these are messages and likewise , Bhp trying to shake things up at board level and the many other under hand tactics used over the last few years to stir up solg investors.
Who knows what's going on but to me there have been many games since Bhp got involved and probably many things we don't know about.

Let's just hope the Lth were right to hold tight and support the board and get rewarded for their patients and risk.

Monte I accept you point about last agm however Nick still has substantial support and believe he took 55% of the vote last agm.
OK this wasn't enough for him to stay in his job but a considerable support otherwise why would we be seeing a super major trying to oust him again?
Is it to try and push a low ball offer through?

Colonel can Bhp and Ncm still put someone on the board?
Was this not part of the previous raising along with anti dilution and stand still agreements?

Add to that Kok (also ex Bhp)and the attempt to change another 2 or 3 board members and I fail to understand how 1 of our most persistent posters can eve begin to say Bhp cannot take control of our board.

Monte, I guess looking at it from Bhp view they have already made an effort to get on the cheap.
Solg have set out their stall and Bhp want to prove a point that they don't have to pay over the odds.
I guess the fact they are paying partly for us to discover as well makes them feel they deserve a fair discount??
