Be very interesting to know what the reserves update will be on that oil and fingers crossed gas with such a big structure ( the mighty Royston).
Could make Cascadura look very small in comparison and that's a world class find.
Kraken up next year and that's even bigger beneath Royston.
I don't think many will be selling if Royston is full of gas and oil knowing Kraken is below and would be developed at the same time as Royston if good.

29 days till pipeline in at Coho poss a bit quicker if they have no problems on route. Going to be fantastic to see the first well from the block up and running for Txp/ us and I'm sure the market as well. Wouldn't take much to drill that second well at Coho after Christmas

Fingers crossed news tomorrow or Tuesday and it's good . For me a Coho size text or above from each these 2 tests would be very good considering the size of the structure.

I'd be over the moon with that and anything above that would be amazing.

Every contract is different and we only signed ours less than a year ago. We already employ mostly Trinidad citizens and train them to the standard requirements in all aspects of work.
The contract is for the hole block for gas but oil is a different matter. Both the government and Txp was delighted as both got what they wanted which was good. Let's face it Ngc will be making extremely good money as the gas has gone up a lot and I'm sure Txp are still happy with what they get. Why would they change the contract as they would only have to pay us more at the well head would they not.

If Royston is very good I'm selling f...all as the reserves update will be mind blowing considering Casca deep will be thrown in as well and the fact kraken is right underneath it.
Plus I think shell or one of the big companies could come in especially as kraken is bigger and loaded as well. I've payed my money and the game has begun.
That is why I hope kraken can be done if poss off the same pad and the first drill in the next phase of drilling next year. Plus a tremendous start to the second drilling phase

Yes but they want these blocks taken up and by already onshore oil and gas companies so if a deal can be done that is better all-round for Txp and remember Heritage is government owned and I'm betting they want us to take a look with them as we are about the best there is onshore.
I'd like to think a great deal could be done that benefits both old and the new blocks.

Sounds as if they are asking Txp to take a block or 2 with heritage. I'd say OK if you give us a better deal on what we have already found to make it worthwhile.

A land bid round, however, has very good prospects for licensed blocks. Touchstone singlehandedly has proven that onshore has serious exploration potential left. The challenge here is making it worth the while of the operators. These blocks need to be marketed mainly to existing onshore producers who already know the acreage and know how to make things happen on land, where operating has many more challenges than in the sea.

A mountain of cash coming in for many many years and will keep growing. Fingers crossed if Royston comes in on the next 2 tests then bets are off on what Royston will do for Txp as it would be mind blowing.
As Scott says, you would be talking 1tcf plus on a structure that size plus the oil.
Kraken underneath would possibly be another monster. I really hope they go after kraken as the first drill on the next phase of drilling next year a bit like Casca deep of the same pad if possible if they they think is a good position for kraken as well.
If Royston is good I can't wait for that reserves update as it will be huge as Casca deep will be in on that also.

Let it drop as I just pick up more and very obvious reasons why. Any short position when news comes out and it's good will catch a lot out and that news could come at any time now.

If we have 350 bopd from Royston and we aren't even at the bottom of pay plus the size of the structure we could be talking billions of pounds worth of money for us. No expert but pretty sure that 350 bopd could be increased substantial.
Like you say just got to wait for news which could come any day. Kraken underneath has become a lot lot more interesting don't you think.

Hmm would you really put the flare next to the rig and well when testing, i think not as extremely dangerous wouldn't you think.

Does that not mean it's going into kraken . That would be mind blowing . Could someone explain if poss how they would improve the flow rate as 350 bopd doesn't seem a lot. Is it something to do with the well design for this drill. Or crappie rock as Paul says.

Yes a raise for another drill if they can drill from the Royston pad would be absolutely fine by me as you say.

Bloody hell let's get the tests done before anything else. If as we all hope Royston is good it certainly won't be coming online till 2023 as just 2 much to do with coho and Cascadura infills plus the 3 new exploration wells next year.
What I would say is if Royston is very good they could go after kraken next before the other 2 prospects . The question is and i hope its possible that they could use the Royston pad like they did with Cascadura for the deep to go after kraken below . Few chaps on here may poss give us a better understanding if that's possible.
I'd expect a lot of cost saving as well.

Fantastic news yesterday and looking forward to the next 2 tests . If good you've got to looking at £2.00 pounds plus. Imagine the reserve update we will get which will include the Casca deep.

Thanks mate, much appreciated and gives us a insight into why things have taken longer than expected. Having a world class asset was always going to take time to bring online and the explanation for Coho taking time is more understandable after that.
