The reason I asked that question was that they had already done one well so absolutely knew about the high pressure and they did design the second well but still couldn't cope with the pressures. I'm guessing this is very common till they get the correct balance if that the correct term.

As you say they almost lost control of the well due to the high pressure so how do they get around that to be able to go deeper .

Still got 550 ft to test on the Cascadura wells so a lot more to come from this world class asset.

That's more like the Paul I remember from 2 years ago. Interesting that they could have some leverage when upping the volume at Cascadura. $14 million a quarter when Cascadura comes online then all the infills "wow" If I have got that correct . Then Royston if all good. So are we better off below $75 a barrel due to how Trinidad tax the oil as above is 18% more . Cascadura will be producing 1500 bopd from those first 2 wells. Then as highlandmatt says all the rest. What a step change just on Coho let alone Cascadura. It's bloody huge going into next year and beyond. Would still like them to drop another well at Coho first as everything now in place .

yes I have my faults but a nutter is a new one to me. We are also allowed opinions which is exactly what you are doing is it not for god sake.
This board was my fist post on lse and i know many investors here and have often talked about how good the company is with them as I will with fleccy and the rest. Just because I work for them and we have a grievance about pay does not mean I don't care about this company because I very much do.
It is great to look at things from a different angles because that's how you learn things is it not. I hold nothing against anyone wanting to make money because we're all here for that.

Would it not be incredible boring if we all just agreed on everything in this company is spot on .

Government is not a business. BT has to re-invest in order to stay competitive, and they need to keep some money to survive in case things go wrong for a while. They cannot spend their entire profit on salaries.

How interesting you should say that when they paid out 54% of those profits to shareholders. So cut the dividend would be a start don't you think so the workforce can get a fair deal and they can invest more in the network.

So binmen and those upto £39000 will get a £1925 pound consolidated pay rise if the work force north of the boarder agree with the government saying can't afford it but that's what they have offered, while BT/Openreach workforce got £1500 from a company that made £1.3 billion pound profit but gave £700 million to it's shareholders and a pittance to its workforce.

Get real for God sake, every one on this board knows people have been complaining for years and years that these people are being paid extortionate money and 99% of the UK would agree with me.

I had a director out with me and another engineer. He came to the site and within 20 minutes 7 local managers turned up . I've never seen a man lose it with them like he did telling them in no uncertain terms to go .
He didn't want them talking crap to him as he was out for 2 days with us. He came out to see an idea 5 of us had but wanted to see for himself instead of managers giving him sporadic information. He was Bright as a button and a fantastic sense of humour and amazed he had all the gear to get stuck in.
By the end of the 2 days he was knackered but had got all information needed from us and how it worked.
He said to us that it's not just those above trying to save money and new ideas but a collective effort from all and one just doesn't work without the other.
Certain things was brought back in house is all I will say.
If you think for one second it's just the top brass that come out with the ideas on making money and saving money then BT/ Openreach are in serious trouble.

The I've been told brigade is just hear say and gets exaggerated by people like yourself.

Least with fleecy and others we can agree to disagree. The company is great but sometimes it needs a kick up the backside. Just watch out the divi doesn't get cut.

Do you work for BT / Openreach and understand how the fault/ jobs allocations through the systems to each engineers ability. Many many engineers are not multi skilled anymore and could require 1/ 2/ 3 to finish a job especially if the fault is UG. They will not train up to that level as it cost the company to much.
Hence you can't reduce faults over sustained periods with reduced staff levels.

That came out sh.. but you get my point
