Under the terms of the deal, the new investor will provide Britishvolt with £30mn initially, then another £128mn during this year, the Financial Times reported on Monday. This will help the business to keep running, allowing it to secure orders from carmakers for its battery technology.

The start-up’s shareholders, which include Glencore and Ashtead, have until Friday to approve the deal, said three people familiar with the vote.

The threshold is 75 per cent approval, a level that may prove challenging given that so many of the shareholders will be all but wiped out by the valuation of £32mn, two people said.

Its way too early to talk of first orders and quantities. Need output from pilot plant (construction completing this April coming) and analysed by potential customers, then we can get to orders and volumes or offtake agreement as Dumbpunter stated. That said we know of one very large interested party in the form of a government.

In that presentation, the key dates stated were:

1. Start pilot plant in April 2023 (that is construction completion of the pilot plant, listen what GB states at 13 mins where he says its a completion target and its output is for "design data" not to be seen as an initial revenue stream)
2. BFS completed by end 2023
3. Finance full production project in H1 2024
4. "Breaking Ground" (start main construction) in 2024
5. Commissioning by end of 2025
6. Production in 2026.

The presentation also covers target revenues and costs, see slide at 13:50 for example. Firm details cannot exist until final commercial agreements are in place and even then will be commercially sensitive information I expect. Have a listen to the presentation, plenty of good detail. For example if you want to know the main customers RBW expect to have, listen in at the answer to that question at 30:45 (which by implication then explains the USA Government interest).

Tesla is a one product company, car manufacturers sell many models for different markets and customer type.
Hence BYD is the biggest EV manufacture in the world and they sell 1.6million.

There is no bottom to this share, may hit $20. Missed three consecutive Quarterly sales targets and its a car company not tech.

Twitter is an excuse, he knows it going to get slaughtered. He said TSLA was over priced.

TSLA was basically worthless without FSD, now that has 'Failed' (tesla's description in court) and the accident rate of Tesla's cars on automated driving is 7 x average, the **** will hit the fan.

Failed sales target, lost 1 EV maker world wide to BYD, falling market share everywhere, demand evaporated and interest rates up affecting affordability.

Default is an event. It's triggered and the relevant clauses in the contract apply. Undoing default requires repayment of the loan, interest and fees in their entirety.
It's in the contract at Companies House.

The loan is about 25million with fees and 9.75% interest (minimum) compounding monthly. RMM had one years grace period and defaulted on the first payment date.
That is abysmal.
Best case scenario is the loan is repaid via profits from mining and control is returned to the company. If copper hits $12k per ton next year the debt could be repaid in 18months and the suspension lifted. Or the mine could be sold once its sufficiently profitable, to recover the debt.
