Several reasons why it would work, firstly they have developed a process that has been run continuously in a lab environment. It has also been patented.
But the most important process is the pilot plant that will produce volumes of product on a scaled down plant for an extended period of continuous production.
This will be proof that the process works. An Australian mine that has been financed recently ran for a year and produced 100's of k tons of Carbonate in its pilot plant.
RBW's pilot plant in SA produced tens of tons of Carbonate when it ran a few years ago. Thus proving the Carbonate stage of RE production.
The pilot plants in RBW 's gypsum stack and the acid plants will prove the NdPr oxide stage and support the BFS.
Incidently the US gypsum stacks have very low TREO compared to SA and Tunisia.

What makes you think that he now knows they will be lower in the next 5 years? Low interestvrates were a very expensive and damaging experience that will not be repeated.

However, the real reason PRE is not being funded (unlike other mining projects that have recently been) is that the risk premium is especially high for them. Location, radioactive asset, very high costs, inexperienced management with a history of repeated failures, no feasibility study. Its a disaster in the making.

Prepare to see the SP plummet over the next few years while nothing else happens
