Used today’s fall to top up again. Easy money IMO. Quarantine going to be a 3 week wonder I believe with air bridges to Jet2’s key destinations in place soon

Matt Han**** rowing back on his earlier comments. If quarantine is just a 3 week wonder which I suspect it is once air bridges are agreed the IMO IAG shares are gonna pop like popcorn in a microwave. Excited!!

Lol @Rbr08 if only my posts carried the weight you imply. Anything anyone posts on this forum has no effect on the share price. We are all minuscule fish in this ocean reacting to its ebbs and flows.

Got an awful feeling that there’s gonna be a big escalation with China in the next 48 hrs following their approval of new HK legislation. Tempted to cash out temporarily as it won’t take much to send this volatile market the other way. Hope I’m wrong.

Agree! You’d imagine a SP jump on the back of each Air Bridge announcement. Everyone know the whole quarantine thing is a joke. We are an island and can not survive in the modern world without travel!

Just topped up my share volume again. Gutted I didn’t buy more previously but still plenty of action to come :-)

IMO this will be over 10 pounds by July. Expecting to see further jumps with every new route / air bridge / country opening over the coming weeks.

Shares currently making a tidy profit with recent rises but I am worried that the overall stock market does not seem to have priced in the recession we are all at the beginning of. Tempted to sell out in the near future but still in 2 minds. What do others think?

Thought it would take a bit longer to get over 800p but the recent actions by the board have clearly restored investor confidence. 810p at time of writing. Happy days!

Actually I agree there is a real possibility of a second wave however the same people who are crowding British beaches will jump at the chance to crowd Spanish beaches. IMO The vast majority of under 40s are not going to change their lifestyles for a disease which is perceived to target the elderly and those with underlying health conditions
