Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Let's now see if the bubble has burst?
This morning's RNS supports my previous post and questions.
I cannot believe the rampers on here from last night to early morning. Have you forgotten that a deal has already been done with Deb's lenders. If SPD are to act isn't a formal offer required immediately? Even if a formal offer is received isn't it true that the terms of the debt is that it can be called in should there be a change of ownership? If alternative financing are unavailable then won't SPD have to buy out shareholders as well as paying off all facilities on day one?
Is there any chance that an increasing share price will allow existing shareholders to dump a significant amount of shares and maximise value? Now there's a thought.
A RNS wouldn't go amiss from the Deb's board. Just feel there needs to be a semblance of rationality on here as the euphoria seems to have kicked in again just like a week last Wednesday.
Steward, there is no takeover at this stage. The RNS is very clear in that respect.
In respect of PIs I couldn't be more pleased if this works out well, especially for 22 and HK as they've been facing large losses. Plus if honest even Pearls. Once again we need to fully appreciate the process.
Kammi, I've always been one to sit back and assess the situation whilst those around me have lost their heads, and let's face it we have quite a few headless horseman running around tonight. As Daniel and Meta have clearly advised over the last week you need to understand the process. I'm waiting myself with patience in respect of the Company's response.
Daniel, I feel you may be right about a rollercoaster ride, but the timeframe could well be less?
I sat by watching the Flybe position unwind with interest but this is even more interesting, imo timescales are now too short to expect a miracle. Would require Deb's board to terminate the Solicitation before I started to get those butterfly feelings.
Not to throw a spanner in the works but is it possible that we could see a RNS tomorrow confirming that they have received the Requisite consents?
Would it be sensible to hold fire on the champagne until a notification of termination of the Consent Solicitation, and also a formal offer being received from SPD?
Is it just wishful thinking at this stage, that all shareholders dreams have come true?
Do those posting 5000% increase in share price really have a clue of the impact of the above?
Would it be wise to say, take care people?
I can't believe what I'm reading, the ramping has again started. Do you guys really believe, in your heart of hearts, an increase of 100% tomorrow on this statement alone? Surely pure madness? Can't get my breath, never learn.
Lol.
Same guys again, Pearls, and 22 cracking open the champagne just like the previous week. I have to ask the question but what planet are you living on? The statement means little, it's not a formal offer and the deal with the lenders appears to have been already done, doesn't it?
Please, please don't start ramping this up again. It really is getting tedious and sending the wrong message to newbies on here.
Who on here truly believes that Thursday won't be the last trading day re Deb's shares?
In fact as Knigelk is no longer a shareholder and clearly had no understanding of circumstances and failed to call it right, should he not stop posting on this board i.e. take his own advice?
Franalex, I've been discussing Admin possibility with Knigelk for weeks but he wouldn't believe it was possible. Maybe he's a lost case.
Steward, they do not have offer any engagement with SPD. They appear to be in constant dialogue with their lenders and insolvency practitioners which would appear the priority in the circumstances.
Is it time people on here faced the reality?
Are SPD just setting the stage for a legal challenge? If so won't this be after the event?
Wake up guys.
Pearls you really are bad. You're advocating further interest in this share. Think of the newbie who may read your post and invest only to lose everything next week. Outrageous.
Too many posts full of self pity today. We knew as shareholders there was a chance this would go sour, especially over the last 4weeks. The writing was on the wall.
I have continually posted my own severe concerns over the possibility of Administration for the last 3weeks, against other posts of jam tomorrow.
I'm still in disbelief of a number on here still raising positive posts.
Pearls, it's not in jeopardy, it's going to survive in probably a scaled down format and with renegotiated leases. It's a win for Debenhams. Not Shareholders however but if you're true to what you've been saying then you should be happy with that.
P.s. I know what a stakeholder is.
Same old Pearls, just doesn't get it.
The point is you were happy to see the landlords screwed over but when it comes to yourselves then you're screaming from the rooftops.
Double standards and self pity.
Guys, what's with the self pity? The BoD are advising they're doing the best thing for their stakeholders. Not one of you were taking a moral stance when you were advising the best way forward was to screw over the landlords.
Just comes across that as long as you're okay then to hell with everyone else.
Time to give up guys.
These positive posts are truly ridiculous and you need to face reality.
Imo, this morning was game, set and match.
I can't believe you're still anticipating a bid / white knight to come to the rescue.
Whilst my own view has been proved right I get no satisfaction in this.
Good luck to you all in your future ventures.
Just a parting gift of advice, Knigelk, try not to be too angry in your posts on future sites. You can't win all the time.
