If you're happy with your investment that's fine, but let's be honest it's speculative and is purely on the basis that SPD come in with a offer and that it's accepted. That's a big risk isn't it? No control and a very limited timeframe.
Enjoy your paper profit, in the moment it feels great doesn't it?
Knigelk, what I did was based on factual RNSs at the time. Mood changed in line with subsequent RNS and media reports which were proved accurate.
This latest speculative mood is based on what may or may not happen whilst we know at this stage the lender requisite could be advised as finalised on Thursday, couldn't it.
Don't you feel that people on here need to be careful that they don't pull in the newbies who may end up making a poor decision?
Doesn't the current price say it all?
Where is the 5p, 10p and 22p?
Look at the net 29m buys. Look at the minor share price increase. Fascinating isn't it?
Stew, you haven't a profit yet then? Don't count your chickens until sold.
Nickel, aren't you just speculating on what may or may not occur? How much does SPD have to spend on day one £650m + on a loss making business? Would make me think twice, wouldn't it you?
Can't believe the number of rampers. Let's be clear there's possibly only 1day of trading left, isn't there?
Jed, where do you get your price from. Seriously, come on.
What planet could a number of members on this board be living?
Seriously guys are you celebrating a 0.65p rise. What was the cost to buy in, and what's your sell offer price? I guess after those you'd be lucky to have a 10% profit.
What you're advocating is a massive speculative move based on what someone may or may not do. The facts are that on Thursday this share could be wiped out, isn't that right?
If you were shorting a share would you rather close and keep profit rather than wait for Administration?
Interesting times.
Doesn't it say a lot that the share price isn't flying?
Would say he's buying wouldn't you? Time to close position ahead of Thursday would you not say?
I believe we're watching a bigger game. Some however maybe watching the wrong one? Are you watching the correct one?
I think I am.
A lesson learnt!
I can remember having backed Barton Bank to win the 1994 King George. A very large wager for me of £500. A certainty. Going to the final fence, many lengths clear, flying at the time, I turned around to all the mug punters and shouted out those famous words, "yes get in there £500 at 8/1". I turned around only to see it fall. Just a lesson people. I learned 2 things that day never to assume and never to back a horse again.
Guys you really need to calm down. Everyone needs to swallow a realism pill. Don't you think you're losing the plot?
Look at what is known not what may or may not happen.
In less than 2days the shareholders could be wiped out, couldn't they?
Am I missing something as the only real news is lender requisite, is it not?
Have you people gone crazy?
Oh no, it's now falling. Why did I buy in at 2.25p, how am I going to explain it to by Mrs?
Wow, it's moved 0.65p. We've made our millions guys!
Just imagine what it would increase if we got some positive news. Wait wasn't that positive news last night?
Lol. Jokers. Has it hit 5p, 10p or 22p yet?
Stew, good luck in selling that many. I struggled with selling 2.2m. Do you really believe you'll have the ability to take advantage of any, if any, price rise. You'll be lucky if you get a 5% profit, surely?
Back at 10am.
Good luck all.
I wonder where 22, HK, Knigelk, and Pearls are today? Are they struggling with a hangover? Bottles of empty champagne to clean up guys? Same old same old, reaction, realism, and manic depression.
So stew, are you promoting gambling? Lol.
Wouldn't a better bet be on the final brexit result? Lol.
Steward, aren't you the one who was looking forward to a 22p open? Didn't I mention last night calm down guys as RNS tomorrow morning will kick you in the guts again?
Realisation now setting in that a formal bid is required?
Doesn't time frame look too short?
I'm really happy with my place on the sidelines watching in. This will be as interesting as Flybe, don't you think?
The saddest thing for me is that I'm not around early morning to witness the opening hour movements. Unfortunately I have better things to do.
