RE: Looking good here16 May 2019 12:29
why I think this is looking good -
1) MTFB attended health conference even after receiving CRL. Someone like Scott would not go to such conference if he thinks CRL and the content in it is the final nail in the coffin. Clearly MTFB are confident of their product and not worried about CRL so they attended conference with confidence to answer any questions about CRL if any from anyone.
2) They appointed a new director who is the best in the MTFB team for marketing and commercializing Iclaprim. They wouldn't appoint a director now when they think the finances are not good and if they think there is no path way forward for Iclaprim! Clearly, they seem to see the way forward for Iclaprim!
3) The placing at 6p was successful and this wouldn't be successful if investors were not confident on the product.
4) In the webcast, they mentioned that there is no need for trials so it is clearly a minor issue which they are confident that they can deal with.
5) Major IIs are still holding and have not closed their cards yet including AMP betting on for approval!
6) They wouldn't request for FDA meeting after receiving CRL if they think that FDA would reject it like the first time when it was rejected.
7) In the final results RNS, they were even talking about submission to EMA! They wouldn't even think that far if they were not confident of approval?
8) If Vancomycin is already there in the market then FDA wouldn't have worked with MTFB after they initially rejected back in 2009? Clearly there is a billion market for Iclaprim so once it is approved, the partners waiting on the wings would pour in offers for MTFB.
Feel free to add more that I may have missed!
So it definitely is looking very good for me!
