My local CW is having 8 shows on Friday starting from 1.30pm in the afternoon and goes on till 8.30pm so every 1hour there is a show, which is by no means less number of screens.

If your local cinema is not doing that many shows then definitely your local cinemas and the locals are not the brightest!

Not to forget, there sure was a talk about Jhango takeover of CINE in the media, which made everyone excited!

So nothing wrong if this takeover topic is given more attention so it gets noticed by the media and helps in bounce back to 90s!

Last time, investors chronicle I think mentioned that the investors are speculating about Jhango takeover despite no RNS from cine about takeover and nothing from Jhango either. Media do read these BBs! Before the gang jumps on this, I will find the link and share it here although others can also search for it before jumping on!

Based on the Sky news article, I think we are getting very close to the light at the end of the tunnel.
If the hopsitablization numbers continue to be remain low then it means vaccines are helping. This means as soon as other countries in EU get their vaccination done to atleast 80% of the population then it is full re-opening in the developed countries! EU is already making good progress with the vaccines so by August, situtation could be very promising with every country in EU opening up and US too.

I guess it is not too far away to see £1.20 atleast!

Cruis1, excellent info about studios paying to the theaters for the trailers. But you can see that you got criticized despite finding the information that they were lazy to research. Like you, even I don't see what is so much significant about playing trailers of 4 mega movies before a film!

Pig, excellent find about AMC! Obviously some of them here quickly dismiss anything that is said about AMC as they lack the ability to read full details so let me share what I found useful about that AMC link from SA.

The main thing to understand from that article is that CINE shares have NOT been diluted when raising the debt unlike AMC!!! If you look at AMC's free float it is almost same number as total outstanding shares whereas CINE free float is half of the total! Although Cine added $1bn debt because of covid but this debt was raised without issuing equity unlike AMC and that is the power of Mooky! That means the number of shares are still same as before covid so share price can go back to precovid levels despite additional debt of $1bn. This is the reason why some of us say that current price is undervalued but some of the idiots with half ounce brain say it is ramping despite being invested. These idiots don't understand technicals but say that current price is right because of the debt and those who are saying price going down to zero because of debt has no brain at all.

Also CINE secured covenant waivers until June 2022! We have Jhango still holding and few other institutional investors who bought cine this week -

The institutional investors and Jhango don't feel that Cine debt is a concern. We now have major Cine cinemas in US running with full capacity like in CA. Current price is ridiculous.

So DFA do see further incoming upside for ITV! We are doing very well without dividend announcement! Once that announcement comes in then £1.90 in no time! By Christmas am still betting that we will see £1.90 provided no winter surges and hope Chris Whitty doesn't ask for restrictions in Winter!

I had one jab and am having bad cough and fever since last 2 days so used free LF home test kit and it came back negative twice. Today I have booked PCR test. Hopefully that will be negative too. I ordered the free home test kit a month back.

I definitely would prefer saliva based test than the nasal swab. I saw AVCT test kit usage video, it does seem like easy to do it but why was it CE marked only for professional use and not for home use?

Just my observation is that IG mostly produced an article when they see an opportunity to short and that opportunity is with the delay in full re-opening. Their articles are as good as Motley fool's one. They say SP was up by 41% YTD. If the debt is a concern then why did the price go up by 41% in first place. Drop from highs of £1.22 is profit taking and few shorts up. Once more big movies are released, shorts will close and we have good movie line up. We had Barclays upgrade the price to 115p and Jefferies sees 50% upside from current levels so we have 2 brokers seeing massive upside from current levels compared to IG.

In the recent Mooky's video with CNBC, Mooky was upbeat with the demand for cinemas and he is not bothered about debt and he secured enough liquidity to the extent that CINE can survive all of 2021 even with cinemas closed but CINE cinemas are fully opened with fantastic movie line up starting with F9.

Like I said to me, IG articles are as good as Motley fool's one. AIMHO. DYOR.

LPD, they hawk on others posts and find negatives and criticize. That is what they enjoy doing it. Out of 100 posts you will see rubbish 95 times and that includes criticizing and abuse. The remaining 5 are about cinema attendance adding some caveats and reminders about nothing to get excited about CINE although there will be a disclaimer about invested in CINE.

If you post anything positive they will pounce to remind that there is no reason to be excited about CINE effecting the sentiment of others who are invested. They like provoking others. Anyways everyone is free to post and we have a filter button so there is no need for continuous abuse just use the filter.

LPD, you have done an outstanding job in translating Mooky's video to text and posted here. I really appreciate the effort that you put in to gather information and share it here with us. Please continue to do so and don't get discouraged by the mob here.

He said yday that in one cinema there was a lighting issue. How is that relevant and useful to anyone reading the posts here? Because of the lighting issue in one cinema at certain hour, CINE is going down is it? That is the kind of research we get from him!

FI, memorial weekend was a box office record since the pandemic began. Also Media is comparing this year memorial weekend to the 2019 memorial weekend, which had 12 big movies including Alladin, Avengers etc and made $235M whereas this year without that many movies, it was $100M so despite restrictions and less movies that is a good number and with more movies to come, there is a good reason to be optimistic but you just want to quickly criticize without looking at the brighter picture as always.

Also when I say cinemas were never full before covid, you fail to understand that only few days in the entire year they were full with majority of the year it was 50% capacity or less. Any half brain person knows this.

Unlike before covid, when multiple mega movies are released this year, due to the demand, there will be more number of days CINE cinemas will be full in US, which is our main market.

Not sure why there is so much cause for concern due to the delay?
The delay is about freedom from any restrictions but I see that people are already shopping and going out as if there are no restrictions. People are simply wearing masks and doing everything like before the covid including watching cinemas. Moreover cinemas were never full even before covid and still cine made money so CINE will make money even now as long as cinemas are not closed.
US is the biggest market for CINE and it is not a lockdown in UK. Mooky himself said strong demand seen in UK after reopening and our biggest market US is already delivering record box office results. So stop spreading fear with your doom and gloom pessimistic views if you are invested in Cine.

Believe in what Mooky said and I must say LPD did a great job in translating what Mooky said in his video to a text. Mooky himself said there are big movies coming up so you can't deny what CEO says and LPD and many others were saying the same that big movies will have an impact to CINE SP. How else do you think Jefferies or Barclays have come up with their 115p or even higher SP?

Also remember we had a director purchase for 98p in April and the director hasn't sold so we don't need to worry either. We will crawl back to 90s. Hold tight.
