antmoss, I meant to say that last 4 days 6-10% daily drops trend has been broken. Blue close is all what we need today.

We hit 68p today despite all the doom and gloom that we heard in the last 4 days.

Mooky cleared many things in his interview. He has instilled the confidence that CINE is doing good

If you still do not trust Mooky and argue that things are not looking good then it is your choice.

Many must have been waiting to see if it is dead cat bounce in the morning but the bounce is due to Mooky's interview who cleared many doubts.

I think stage is set now for upwards to the true CINE value from next week. ATB

I hope now Cruis1 will not worry about US cine listing drop. He was worried that CINE dropped 10% yday in US and same could happen today here but it went 10% up :-)

Cruis1 hopefully you will now stop posting headline news about these drops....try staying positive...

Based on above, Vanguard reported 33% increase in CINE world shares back in April 30th and the price back then was in 90s and there are several more funds that have bought in 90s and can't see how they would sell for a loss.

Ofcourse, those were the holdings bought in April but like I said the price at that time was around 90 and it has not gone up above 90s so I can't see how those big funds would sell for a loss.

Also there were massive buys yday after the hours.

If one is really £24k down then they would actually be looking for information that support their investment. Not try cutting the branch that you are sitting on....

onesharewonder, I was looking for such numbers from the investment guru on this board but he said he needs more time to pull out 18 months of data! :-) He has time for posting all the other stuff :-)

As BigPlan mentioned that trading conditions need to be reached to 2019 levels so I was merely pointing out those box office numbers to convey that demand for movies is back just like precovid levels. We now just need more movies as FI mentioned.

HNS, I pointed out the same thing few days back about the number of releases being nearly half of the 2019 releases but the cinema attendance and the revenue is almost back to 2019 covid levels.

So you can see that for half the number of releases compared to 2019, gross amount is almost comparable to 2019.
So just for comparison if you take 90 releases in 2019, which is half the actual number then gross would be $550M and we have $399M for similar number now in June 2021 and that means CINE is almost trading at pre-covid levels and am sure lenders can see that too and will be happy.

BigPlan, when the debt is not manageable I fail to see how Mooky got away without an equity raise last year when their survival was in question due to covid. I actually expected some form of equity raise in March this year as part of the FY20 results but to my suprise Mooky refinanced without any equity raise and infact he confirmed that even if all the cinemas are closed for whole of this year, CINE has enough liquidity to survive until next year with debt covenants waived off until June 2022. On top of this, he announced bonus for the executives when the share price reaches £1.90 and that is what has given me confidence to buy loads in 90s!

Anyways it is all speculation about whether more is needed or not and situation is much much better with all movies getting released as per the schedule and box office revenue is increasing every month so money is definitely coming in so liquidity wise, they are in a very comfortably position as of now.

With the industry going to exist for next several decades, managing debt is not a problem. Banks will be more than happy to lend as along as they are getting paid on their interests.

Also you said that as per FY2019 accounts, taking away their finance costs(£568m) from the profits(£725M), they are left with £157m and I can't see how they still managed to pay the dividends for FY2019? I see from FY2019 results, the paid 2 quarters dividends that amounted to £103m so for 4 quarters(FY2019) that would be £206m so I do not understand how they could have paid the dividend when they are left with £157m? I might be missing something there. Also they sold out few estates which gave them some £250m, which they used to pay shareholds a special dividend.

Again some are speculating about RI and creating fear.

There is no reason for them to do RI now when they didn't do all of last year. They have secured enough liquidity for this year and that will help them survive until next year 2022 even if all the cinemas are closed for all of this year. Go and read RNS and then tell me if am wrong.

Some just don't want to do any research but spout rubbish and post with headlines trying to spread fear.

Steve if it makes you feel any better I have £35k with 91p avg. I bought few in 80s but not big enough to dent my avg.

But one thing I have seen is that last year with BT, I bought at 206p in Jan 2020 and it went down to 100p last year and I sold 50% at loss at around 125p I guess and the remaining 50% was in and it sprung back to 200p this year!

So am not going to sell CINE this time. I will ride this out. CINE was closed all of last year and it still rose from ashes and situation is much much better compared to lsat year althoug there is a scare of lockdown here but US is our main market and they are doing well so the drop is unjustified IMO.

Article says RECORD GROWTH IN PAY AND VACANCIES, which means people have more money to spend and just yesterday our finance guru was saying scaremongering about inflation. Inflation will come down once there is a balance between supply/demand for the job vacancies and that balance will come sooner.

So more money into people pockets means more spending, which is very good for CINE.

From US domestic figure of $80M, worldwide theater revenue is $160M whereas Disney streaming revenue is $60M.

Studios can see how quickly they can make more money from theaters compared to streaming. CINE makes money in the first 30-45 days of the release.

People can see who is a paid deramper.
Many asked you why you are here when you are not invested. You gave sold out and said made £2.87p profit. Good for you. Leave us with our losses. We will make multiple times bigger than your £2.87p profit. Can dig out your post if needed.
