Was anybody in Metro Bank 2 years ago on the 18/12/2020?
I sold all my shares on this day after getting in at 60p and out at £1:14.
At 18:33 that night a RNS dropped out of nowhere declaring the bank had sold £3B of mortgages. 6 days later the SP was £1:41. I think it was a thank you RNS from the CEO to all the shareholders that had stuck with the bank through an awful time.
I got to thinking is it at all possible DM could do the same tomorrow with a RNS as a thank you to long term shareholders that have stuck with the company.
There’s a chance. But its a slim chance.

I’m not selling any shares at these prices for some MM to make, IMO, over 100% in the next year. Very happy at these levels of dilution as for the cash raised it will propel this immense prospect forward at a rate that looks to be break neck speed next year. TG must be 200% positive that Tlou has commercial gas flow or it can be achieved. Otherwise, why would we spending millions on poles and wires and sub stations and infrastructure? Or could TG be pulling off the con of the century?

I think all us LTH’s have the same plan. Top slice when the time is right. De-risk at a certain price and cash in on the buy out when it happens. Hopefully retirement follows shortly after and live happily ever after sat at the bar next to the swimming pool lol

If you think the 59% are in very sticky hands I would like to see anybody try get Brads, Winni’s, DTE’s, smkr’s, yourself and a lot more, or my shares.

I think they charge more for commission because there are no fees on the account. All they ask is you keep a minimum £10 in the account.
I was with Interactive investor. They charged a fee, that I can’t remember, but you got so much back in to invest in shares. Only trouble was I forgot to invest the money back as didn’t trade that much at the time. If you didn’t use the money back by the end of the month it was forfeited and you lost it. I just went to HL with no fees but a higher commission, which is good for me because I’m not trading a lot. Off topic, looking out my window it looks like we are going to go from a 40 degree drought in the summer to man the life boats in winter. lol

Was saying to the Wife yesterday I wonder how long it will be before a TR1 drops…. Hey presto, we got 2 today. Big boys are coming for our shares. lol

I ended up with an odd number of shares, which plays havoc with my OCD, so I tried to buy 2130 yesterday afternoon to make it a nice round number. For just over 2 hours all I got with my broker was “unable to retrieve a live quote.” I tried to do a kill or fill order but messed it up. I think I managed to get them about 16:14. Are there so few shares out there that brokers are struggling to fill buy orders? Had £30 in my account so jus bought another 642 lol
