Can anyone shed some light.

These after the close buys, are they shorts borrowing more as it looks like another 700,000 shares were purchased again today. Very similar to yesterday.

I find it odd that buys continue to outstrip sells and yet the SP still declines?

Institutions haven’t declared a decrease, so they still hold approximately 47%

All this talk about insufficient funds to commence contracts is wrong. Seem to remember the company stating upfront payment of $100m from tenet.

They’ve increased again!?

I’d love to know their target?

Insight of the doom mongers, I can only imagine they are being paid to post or are holding a grudge.

The business is expected to grow significantly over the medium term. They’ve certainly started landing significant contracts. The pipeline provides huge potential.

When they announce debt reduction and a profit then this SP will be laughed at.

An extra 3000 employees this year says a lot. Clearly making headway in the UAE employing nationals and winning significant contracts.

I’ve filtered the worst offenders, namely tony99999,dogger and snapper. They add nothing to the discussion IMO.

Suspect they’ll vanish as soon as the shorts hit their target!

No need to apologize, I feel your pain. Im in a similar position and heavily long here.

SP is behaving like a company going under, unless the BOD have been lying, which after the SFO debacle I find extremely unlikely, then we are simply being played impressively well.

I also can’t believe what I’m seeing every day since September. It’s as if the fitch rerate was the kiss of death. Infact on that day we saw an 8% rise and I considered diluting until I read the report which was frankly very positive so I held. I bought mor at 60, again mid 50’s and finally at 45. I’m all in with an average of 66.7p, currently bouncing off the walls in disbelief at the SP. it has to turn and when it does I suspect it’ll be violent.

I’m not buying any more now but watching very closely

In June the company stated they expect net debt to reduce by year end, cash flow neutral. And cash flows moving to positive in 2024.

Since the June statement further contract awards in the UAE totaling $1.3 Billion.

Shorts have to pay interest on borrowed shares and bonds.

The ultimate question is. What is their target?

I’ve said this before but we, as PI’s are simply passengers trying to guess it right to make a few bob.

The evidence provided by the BOD is of a business recovering from a tough few years and building what appears to be a bright future in energy.

It’s a tough hold but I’m staying.

In 2019 petrofac paid 2 dividends totaling 30.6p!

Highlighting the ridiculous SP today.

Who knows what the future divided payments will be or when?

It would appear that your gripe is not with petrofac but with private investors who are investing in what looks like a company recovering from a difficult couple of years.

A few people here have proved you wrong on some of your claims.

Please consider the damage you may inflict on some weaker investors.

Did the CEO not recently state that an equity raise is not required.

Did fitch not upgrade the credit rating.

Did the company not secure a record breaking contract with TENET

Did the company not win $1.3 billion worth of contracts with ADNOC

$1.5 billion in Algeria

At this level I don’t think it’s beyond reasonable to think ADNOC could easily take a sizable position in PFC?

Posting our state of mind only plays into the shorts hands, they thrive on uncertainty and panic and have a target price at which point the price will go up, how far up, who knows?

Patience is required and radio silence is our best line of defense until the recovery is underway.

There are a lot of newbies posting in the last couple of days, mostly doom mongers! I wonder why?

Any genuine holders here should be very cautious about selling a loss as that’s what their game is.

I’m prone to pointing out the positives of Pfc as I’ve got skin in the game and to be honest I’m fed up with the performance of the SP this year.

I’m holding firm as I’ve done my own research on this company.

Read the RNS’s and make your own decisions.

Ignore the paid derampers

Assuming the profit margin is only 5%

The profit from 6 Billion is 300 million

Current Mcap 230million

Undervalued doesn’t come close to explaining this fiasco.

If the business was in trouble it would have to inform the market. All we’ve had is news of a business growing its order book and personnel to cope with the expansion, that accompanied by an increase in its credit rating by fitch.

It has to turn soon and violently IMO

The SP goes down on peanuts then the 15k buys come in and it stays stagnant?

All the contracts awarded this year over £6B and the Mcap is £233.9 million it’s laughable can this company be any more undervalued?

I’ve also just added 11013 shares to my pot.

Still not sure what the play is here but am happy to add more at this level and wait. My average now 66p
