Searched petrofac on YouTube this morning for a change and watched the interview with the CEO plus some other employees.

Good post and may well shed some light on what’s actually going on here but doesn’t explain why the BOD haven’t responded which appears to have fueled the fire.

I’m not against people making money but shorting to these extents is not good for business and should be banned.

Any contract news will cause a biblical reversal, even if the trading update is as predicted I can see a severe reversal.

The fact that Astaris have been reducing their short position would suggest that this may not be a coordinated attack and if so, its opportunism on behalf of the shorts.

Cop28 starts today in the UAE, ADNOC has very deep pockets and is going to be spending $Billions on EPC.

They will no doubt be shouting about the carbon capture investment earlier this year but what I do know about the UAE is they love a headline and like to announce large developments when the spotlight is on them.
