Incidently if you notice they (the doom brigade) didnt show up yesterday, so thats vote of confidence in itself.

I think JP s perspective was to remove concerns about debt, and that SML was on track to clear all outstanding, otherwise we would be joined by the doom brigade saying SML is going to wind up, or need another raise to stay afloat.

....shame that a good news day like yesterday was just cast aside by everyone, truly good news that sales at SMG are up and hopefully will continue judging by the raised forecast.

I hope JP uses this extra revenue to build up the cash reserves as then maybe he can find a true partner for LCCM, one that can see SML are willing to invest in too.

I get what you are saying but their salaries do need to be paid, maybe they havent achieved much but the do still get paid.

I do believe that with frugal expenditure they could try and agree an offset for the bond, and pay 30% upfront as the bond is about being able to return the land to its original condition and the payment potentially could be paid incrementally as more land is mined, lets face it in the first year only a small part of the land will be mined, so a smaller bond would be required.

I just find where they are right now as inexcusable, but lets not forget JP & PW do own a lot of share and will want to capitalise on this.

No more cash bonus's all future bonus's to be paid in shares and even then should have restrictions until a certain share price is hit.

With copper where it is and where some think it will be in a couple of years it would be hard to blame anything else....possibly $40k a tonne in a few years is what i have read.

Maybe this is all part of JP's plan, to wait for copper to 3/4x before starting anything, to of course get maximum value out of his asset, lol ok a bit far fetched...

I think im very patient in general but even I am now FFS get something, anything over the F'ng line, the board have accomplished visibly nothing, new customer/s at SMG was just like a customer walking into a shop, applying for grants/PEPR - nothing back.

Possibly the value is controlled by MM's meaning same value is due to what they will commit to at certain prices. Quite a bit bought over last few days, makes me suspicious of possible news soon, maybe im just being overly optimistic, but copper is roasting right now, consolidating at $4.94 per lb.....
