The team should be pushing to get SML perceived as a one of the 3 tungsten players in cornwall, if they do that everything else will fall into place.

There is a lot more interest in the share right now, guessing people are jumping aboard early to secure there tungsten tokens....

Indeed, no rush and little spare cash in the govts pot, it does depend a lot on how UK aligns itself with, EU or USA, spain but to a lesser degree, austria and portugal produce tungsten, where as its been a 40+yrs since USA produced any tungsten. I dont know what the usage rates are for tungsten in EU/UK/USA, but i think think the little outside of china will be enough

I really dont think this news was intended to get someone to invest, this is more about highlighting that the tungsten keeps getting better and demonstrating work is still ongoing

This is the sort of things that take time, the more good news pieces relating to in demand metals the better, just one more piece to the puzzle....

Very timely to be putting out Tungsten exploration results..

But now even if china was to not stop exporting tungsten, the west has now been woken up to how much the rely on china's export and will be looking to secure a source other than china....what has just happened could likely be a game changer for the 3 tungsten operations in cornwall.

Maybe SML should be referring to this mine as a Tungsten/tin mine and not and tin/tungsten mine.

And it could get worse for the west, if china removes the block it put in place for tungsten recycling then there would be even less in circulation

When they made the calculation a few years back they used a WO3 price of $30k per tonne, its gone up since then and its about to sky rocket if china continues it export block.

Has been updated since then, 9th may 2024 was what i can find as the last detailed inferred results, 11mt at 0.56% wo3, i think the total inferred is now near double that. When you add in Tin and Copper its near double also.

60K of tungsten at 10mil tonnes at 0.6%, but its likely that would double on one of the last updates

It could be very useful as US does not domestically produce any themselves.

I get the spread is large, but it wont matter if this goes where it should.

This why when those huge options were made, if they reached 5-10p they would get a bundle of shares I was dead against it and said it was greedy, having anyone with lots of shares they havent invested is a problem for down the road. Cash bonus should be the lions share of any reward.

Maybe if cash reserves increase his shares should be bought back directly by SML
