Project was written off to offset against any tax on Cobre profits, no one taking it on didnt help, but it was done purely to reduce tax liability. Things were very tight at that time.

My view is to float 70-80% on ASX and use the funds to get things moving,

You are reading too much into it, this is more about continuation on the current profit levels, there is not much more capacity to increase output at Cobre by SMG so, focus has to be on maintaining these excellent sales levels into the future.

This PO allows longer term funding and understanding of available income, join with that reassurance of access to the Cobre stockpiles and you just simply cant complain, PO's at strong levels, access confirmed for 5 yrs and all the negatives disappear. Now the team and investors can focus on growth and new opportunities.

I was not a fan of LCCM from day one, having arguments with other board members that it was not shovel ready, and anything that could have been sold off was, as well as listing just some of the equipment that would be needed for the mine.

Anyway im hoping that LCCM can be listed on ASX or majority sold off.

Now the reason for my post and i might not be making friends here, but PLEASE just lay off the company bashing and raking up the bad history, broome has gone, Peters has oversight and if he decided to leave and dump his 90mil shares the SP would be trashed. SML has new blood and focus on shareholders value,

Its just repetitive and boring to dwell on the past constantly, im not sure what you are trying to achieve or why you are bothering but its not helpful, we all know what has previously happened, let the sales figures and new direction improve sentiment.

Nothing against anyone, but surely im allowed my opinion as much as everyone else.
