Change is coming fast and more nickel and cobalt will be needed, quicker than we think.

Director Mr Fisher, three share buys in a row, must have been a mounty, they always get their mine, or something like that. Mr Fisher was chairman of a mining company that was sold for over a billion in 2008, bet he had a few shares in that as well.

Interesting recent tweet from HZM that Vale are investing 1.7 billion in mining projects in Para, almost next door to Hzm mines, due in part I think to the pro mining stance of the new government.
Also article that says China is increasing its stranglehold on Cobalt supplies, ready for the electric battery revolution, with 60% of supplies coming from the Congo, not known for its stability. So I doubt if Vermelho has gone unnoticed.

Hopefully the bull run will strengthen now Trump seems happier with China.

I would want a lot more than 6p for keeping faith as the share price tumbled. Jeremy gives a good narrative, could have puts his hands in his pocket to buy more shares upon reflection. Lombard may want to sell, but does not mean they are not helping someone with their strategy. My hope is with Teck and Glencore as shareholders, neither will want the other to get a bargain, thus keeping the sale price up.

That nearly million purchase just after eight, appears to have annoyed the eternal selller! Turned the sell taps on. Was no different the day I bought all those months ago at over 4p. If the new purchasers enjoy the same price trajectory, we will be the farthing share! Something has got to give surely?

To do with nickel prices on many of the days the share price declined either in my opinion. Is Lombard breeding shares, has anyone an idea how many they might have left, or another explanation?

There are masses of smaller buys as well at the moment. I would buy at this price, if I had not bought earlier!

Vermelho (the mine that has only purchase price valuation at the moment) may have battery grade nickel, plus cobalt.

This is being priced as though we have got the stuff out of the ground today, not over two years away. A week is a long time in politics, a couple of years is a very long time in rising electric battery demand.
Reckon the price is being softened for a bid for both mines, even those who bought at 5p should see a profit, I would have thought.

I always thought it would be bought by a big miner once they had the construction licence. Licence could come next month as new govt. is very pro mining.

They were not bullish when they sold the nickel mine to HZM some years ago, though they did retain a shareholding of course. I would call Glencore ruthless and realist.

Morning Steven, Glencore Ist Nov 2018, market does not realise strength of demand for nickel and has not grasped magnitude of global deficit. Glencore mine it and trade it.

BASF was less specific about its envisaged battery in its latest statement to Reuters. "The market will be ready to adopt such materials in some years from now," it said.

If Trump and China can begin to reach an understanding, might even start this weekend, then sentiment on nickel will improve. Would be nice to see the improved figures with the second kiln, that would improve sentiment, if they came in this month, would be quite nice, but along they will come. I agree with comments about slippage, at least the financial officer bought the most shares.

Electric batteries will be needed long after Trump has ceased his trade war with China, thank goodness.

Hopefully Glencore and Teck will have read the memo and be scratching their heads.
