news out today that the bid for Al Noor has been abandoned hence sp goes up.

Looks like Jefferies were the ones to get this one right with their down grade to 520p where this looks like it could be heading.

Interesting you mention Al Noor which I have also been following. I see that in the news yesterday that NMC have put in a cash offer for Al Noor. Nice to have that sought of cash.

I added some more (not the million shares) while it was down. With today's movement and all being well should see this gap back up to 600p+ next week.

One share that I have done well out of in terms of both divi and share price rise is not on the FTSE but on the NYSE and that is BX. I must admit my US holdings have all outperformed my FTSE ones. Still I agree that RDSB should recover well over the long term.

Further drop today which just wiped out my gains of yesterday. Still 560p is the resistant point at the moment. If it falls below that then the next one is at 520p. With oil prices on the up and other oilies making strong moves north I would have expected this to be making a move up to 10p range in view of latest news. Once a partner has been secured then we should definitely be off and running.

The revenue for this company is up year on year over last 5 years and this year again is going to be better than the last. Looks good to me. As Jefferies point out sp had already taken this all in to account over last 6 months. I grabbed some of these on the 15% drop and happy to hold now.

Hi, Yes you will qualify for the next divi payment. This is payable quarterly and the next ex divi date is about the 13.11.15 so you have plenty of time to jump in this one. Would expect the sp pull back a bit today after such a large rise this week but you never know with these things.

RDSB did go through a period of volatility from October 14 to May 15 with trading range of between 2000p and 2200p. I can see much the same type of volatility for the next six months but probably a reduced trading range dependant on the price of oil.

This is making a strong move north now. Juts gone through several resistance points and I cannot see it going below 1500p if any drop back.

All the oilies up today. BP beating RDSB at 4% up but Tullow leading the way on the FTSE 250. Still if you had sold in May and bought back on St Ledgers day you would be quids in on all of these.

OIl prices up & markets up. MM's will push for recovery of most big stocks in the 4th qtr as usual. What do they say 'sell in May and come back on St. Leger Day'. Still rings true. This should be a good recovery play between now and next divi payment in mid November.

Making progress here. Good to get the bridging funding in place which would not have been obtained unless reasonable prospects of taking this to the next stage of finding a partner. Cautionary note over the price of oil but still viable at today's prices so 25 years oil production of 1.7 billion barrels should see this come to fruition. I note that this was recently given a buy rating by VSA-Capital with approx 500% upside from today's share price with target of 35p. It used to have a target of 70p with 1000% upside based on higher oil prices. If oil prices move up over coming years this should be a a very good investment. Hi V100. I also note last week on full report on Bloomberg that Caterpillar Inc slashed its 2015 revenue forecast on Thursday and said it will cut as many as 10,000 jobs through 2018, joining a list of big U.S. industrial companies grappling with the mining and energy downturn. Not looking good. I have therefore been buying up shares in NMC as looks to be something that will avoid the downturn in these areas.

Plus the VW fiasco will probably see a greater push for the electric car movement. See more on the road when I was over in the US recently only trouble is that you have to watch out as you can't hear them coming. StilI reckon the Americans will probably solve that by having them make a pretend roaring sound.

I sold most of mine on the last ex-divi date but bought back again this morning on this drop. Looks to be a very good price now for a long term hold.
