My wife used to do all her xmas shopping at M&S but she says the prices have gone up a lot and was able to buy some good quality stuff at half the price at Aldi. She did still buy some M&S food stuffs but not as much as usual. How many others doing the same. You know what it is like when these women start to talk.

Thanks Ozzie_owl. You are right it is the 31st December. Just checked on the HL website. I have done the same and bought a few at 125p for the divi and assume we will get 50% at 5.7%.

Just checking it looks as though ex-divi date for this is tomorrow. Anybody out there know if that is correct and as to the amount of the divi? Looks as though a good buy today if that is the case.

I am also in for a small tranche at 125p as that looks a good price to pay with ex-divi date coming up. Agree usually see a climb up to this date. I always prefer to buy in when share price is at a low point rather than reverse. Just makes sense.

If they had any sense they would have cashed in all their pensions and run off to a warmer sunny place where you don't need much in the way of clothes or where they are a lot cheaper anyway.

Anybody out there watching this and invested here? According to HL website this went ex-dividened today which I assume is the reason for the further drop along with other previous news. Investec broker rating has just been revised from 325p to 245p with a buy rating. Looks might now be a good time to buy.

I did very well with this one bought and sold on that bounce and made nearly 40% profit. Still will keep a watchful eye on developments in view of the gossip.

Wow! If anything looks oversold then this does. What a drop just on signal of a slight difference in expected winter earnings. On basis of earnings on first half year this looks way oversold to and so a good buy at this value.

Looks like it might bounce it's way back to about 1600p today. Be interesting to have a broker target based on the latest news.

Wow. That does look way oversold. Always this time of year MMs like to really go to town. Nice Xmas bonus for those that buy in at this price. Hard to get an order through.

Not bad profits. Looking oversold as usual. Grabbed some at under 580p as should be over 600p.

So what went wrong with that then?

With a 1000% increase in the offing I was going to rush out and order a new Range Rover but better hold off for now as look like it is on the slide with everything else.

Not me. It was Citygroup that put that out. I thought they must have added one too many noughts to their target price. My short term view on sp is 150p so looking at a 50% increase. Still good to know you saw the funny side.

Not sure about the overhang but Citigroup have just given this a sp target of 1,100p! I thought that must be a mistake but it is right. Well nearly under £1. So your'e not far off and still maybe further to fall. New Broker rating at 135p so looks a bit oversold. You would have thought this share at this time of year would be doing the opposite. Maybe a good time to buy this one with spirit of Xmas almost upon us. Cheers!

Nice positive trading update from LAM. Looks a good time to buy this one at this level and with broker target being at 160p.

Looks to be good value at this price.

Just waiting on news from this outfit on possible partner. It did hit 3.25p in February and then moved up to 12p at one point. Any sort of positive news and this could fly. OP effecting the sp as MOILs heavy oil would not be commercially viable. However, with a 25 year licence long term this might be worth a small punt at this price.

RNS didn't look too bad to me. 135/136p could be the floor.
