Agree short term this should get back up to 6p/7p again - maybe tomorrow. But long term could be 10x what it is now. All depends on how the oil price goes and terms agreed for the partner that MOIL take on board.

With oil situation looking better and markets all making a strong move north today this usually follows. Need some more buyers to get things moving.

Hi Beanup, I bought a load at under 2p. Sold most of these at 6p today as that was my target. Will hold the rest to see how this goes.

Never understand why the quiet boards always do well. This was my best investment by a mile this time last year and done the same this year. Still with such a low sp on a valuation at 35p minimum you can't go too far wrong. I find it best to avoid those shares where there is a lot of chat.

This is a nice share to be in. Topped up on the recent drop and now looking very impressive with another good rise today. Does move very quickly when it get going. Should go over 1000p at some stage this year but expecting a bit of a pull back first. All positive for NMC.

Good post from GT. He is probably more realistic with his very short term target at 5-6p than my optimistic 10p. However, longer term this should be anywhere between the broker targets of 35p to 70p with many ups and downs along the way.

This time last year the sp was down to about 3p and shot up to over 10p. Broker target was 70p before the oil glut/drop but then revised down to 35p. Oil predicted go back above $50 this year and then to $70 according to Bloomberg analysts. This could easily rebound above 10p short term.

With HL best try to put a 'fill or kill' order which sometimes works when you can't buy or sell. This could multi bag x 10 just at the sniff of a rise in the price in oil. Happy to hold mine until I see it a long way north from here.

With oil prices predicted to take a sharp U-turn by end of this year me thinks it is a good time to take a punt on this one. Certainly these are cheap as chips. Although a bag of chips is a bit of a rip off these days.

Indeed. Thanks for your advice. On the basis of that I bought at 71p the other day but sold at 76p. Thus making a nice profit. Looking to buy back in again now if it goes below 70p. Not one that I will now be holding for longer than necessary. ATB

I see the Pru and M&G have increased their holdings in the company which gives some sense of security plus no doubt they could also see a bargain at this price now things have settled.

I was able to get hold of some just before the close at under 71p. Last time I bought some of these at just below this price was back in 2012 after the big drop then. I am hoping will see this recover as it did then. GLA.

I have been trying to do the same. Suspect some large orders must be getting in the way. Does look bargain basement price to me at this level. Not sure whether to wait and see what happens at close of play. Would like to buy at this price as if markets pick up next week could see a very big rise in sp on this one. Amazing that we have had almost over a 12% swing from 80p down to 70p on the sp today.

This has dropped rather a lot today for good old lamp. Anyone any ideas as to cause as no news is out. Looks to be a good price to buy these shares. Any thoughts?
