Back in the day when I monitored the markets minute by minute that was the game but since I retired, I no longer do level 2 and trade every constantly.

Book average is just under 41p, cost average is just over 28p having used a proportion of my profits to buy CNR aswell as property.

As you like examples I accumulated 50,000 Barclays shares at an average of 108p that I sold for 355p.

During that time I would say I hit a profit on 75-80% of my trades whereas you seem to hit 100% or so you claim after the event.

Dunno why I never traded CNR and just accumulated probably greed and FOMO

Justone, if a deal had been done 6 months ago and if it was Calibre as many on here assume there would have been a paper element which would have doubled over the same period. It's all relative
