Just got back from a appointment,I know like myself you have been here for some time, there are no hard feeling on my part,Hope we both make some money we have waited long enough. ATB Slip
neilmac2002 I have been investing in the offshore oil industry since the early 90s and can assure you I have a reasonable understanding of what takes place before during and after a drill. Just for for your own information the Safety Fire Vessel was not on station 24/7 as you wrongly quoted it left the Lima base at 3pm Sunday and arrived at the Rig approximately 8pm which was the point i was trying to make before you decided to throw you dummy out of the pram and go off on a tangent.
Sorry for the last post gremlins at work it posted its self. Try again The Seacor Cheetah is on her way out to the rig on her daily visit, i presume to pick up any logs and samples and to oblige with any movement of personnel. There are also two offshore supply vessels and a fire safety vessel in attendance which leads me to believe we are at the business end of activities. Everything still crossed good luck all.
They are obliged to report any price sensitive information, and our chairman stated in his last report there would be a number of updates over the coming weeks.
Not being sarcastic but there are many conclusions. 1 We haven't had a blowout. 2 The rig is not on fire. 3 The fact that the Offshore supply vessels are in very close attendance could indicate that we are drilling through a hydrocarbon structure. There are probabley many more.
Lots of activity out at Etinde, 4 vessels in attendance and the Rig has just had a visit from the Seacor Cheetah which was there for about 1/2 hour. Could have been crew change or more hopefully testing crew.
Can't be too far away from entering the payload section of the first shallow structure, I wonder whether they will publish the results, or wait for the completion of the first appraisal well?
Shouldn't be too long before we get the Borgo and One-Legged Pete's with their stories of oil across the Shakers and information passed on by the Parrot in the bar.
All good fun to look forward to and we could be lucky and get a visit from L- Com.
