I haven't checked oyur source figures, but using them (and correcting "476 litres at £0.80" to "476 litres at 7.84) I make the sum, £3745.22.

Being in on the rise and out on the fall is the trick.
Two years ago I found that I could counter it by having three separate investments (just for UKOG this is).
So, if I had bought in and the SP fell, I'd leave that and buy again at the lower level.
I'd trade that until it rose enough to sell the higher level.
Doing that I ended up with three separate investments, all trading at different levels.
I'd only try to make 10% per trade and was able to trade all three in the same day sometimes.

Bit scarier doing that when it's only going one way though.
I reduced my target to 5% at the end of last Summer and in that time I've managed three or four at over 10% and a couple for less, even though I was only targeting 5% then.

Good to know I'm not the only one.
Hope you always get it right (think I only got one "wrong" in three years, when I needed the money to invest elsewhere).

It's not just the number and amount of buys or sells that affect the SP.
It's the values they're made at.
That's dictated by demand and also reflects market confidence.
If people don't want to sell, you have to offer them more to Buy and that pushes the price up.
Others may want to sell but can't find a buyer, so they have to offer their shares for less to make the deal more enticing.
That pushes the price down.

(extremely over-simplified and not an accurate reflection of what really happens).

northfork, H-L won't display accurate pricing in your portfolio (even with a 'live' feed).
Best way to see what their price actually is, is to go through the motions of attempting to make a buy/sell (without completing thoug, obvs).
The actual price displays for about 15 seconds to give you a chance to accept/reject.
Even then, it may still change if you accept, in the time the deal takes to execute (usually only by a little, and then usually in your favour - otherwise it resets and asks you to re-quote).

That could apply equally to a low price or the business, if/when its' value gets too low.

Btw, I'm not really able to trade this any more.
I think I've only traded it three or four times since October.
That's not to say I won't.
It's more my fault than the share though;
I just haven't seen many opportunities for a quick return and was too scared to trade it much (at the level I had previously) when it started sliding below 1p.

Yep, understand yr thoughts entirely, Wiz'.
Valid thinking and I would agree with SS that this is undervalued.
So I'm questioning why the value continues to slip.
It's gone on too long.
There have been no real facts and figures and no news here is not necessarily good news any more.
Two tankers per day doesn't cut it.
We were doing that before the ingress issue and told the sky would be bluer once that was fixed.
The markets think they're not being told something and there's nothing coming out of UKOG to counter it.
I don't believe the SP is being driven (up or down) for the benefit of further buy outs/lonas etc.
I haz a worry.
