Agree your review of the dopey voting at meet1, CynderLad.
But not your assumptions for meet2.
The same people will still have their own hidden agendas and still be voting.
They have had extra time to find new avenues to exploit.
There is still one GLARING reason which would still be legal if given.
It was mentioned in the original meet but not given as anyone's reason (excuse me for not mentioning here and providing them with a free opportunity to use it now).
I am not aware that the situation has changed in any way so we are still at risk from that, and any similar opportunities they've since come up with.
They could still vote for the same reasons.
The vote itself may have been illegal (not sure about that being entirely correct, having sat through the whole thing), but the exact same reasoning could still be given.
Nothing to stop that, even if their own consultants do more work to satisfy their "concerns".
If they want to reject it regardless, they'll simply do that and we'll have to go to court.

Despite my pessimistic nature, I still think there's a chance but figure 70/30 against now (because of the first meet).

I also manage to get the occasional trade, though they're few and far between these days.
The margins make my risk less worthwhile (most of the time).

Would like to see everyone come away with something but, if you feel, it's only ever going down, you're probably right to salvage what you can.
If it does though, it may be better value and you consider buying back in again then.
That's what I've kept doing; Since it started falling I've made a small(er) profit here and there and brought my average down on what I have left in.

My posts only refer to Trousers.
You introduced Schlumberger and Nutech to try and substantiate your own post, which was already incorrect.
I only stated that Trousers claimed he had discovered billions of barrels of oil and subsequently denied it, saying there was only "up to 100million".
He even tried to blame the higher figure the media quoted on the media.

So let me ask you:
As evidenced, Trousers now claims there are only "up to 100M barrels" and denies ever saying "50-100Bn" (which the film also disproves).
You've brought up Nutech and Schlumberger's reports of 50 to 100Bn barrels.
So are you calling N&T liars, Trousers a liar, or suggesting that Trousers is calling N&T liars?

To be clear, and to try and go some way toward answering what I think you asked, I only referred to what Trousers said and claimed, and was filmed saying.
Other than 'Lenny', potentially making the original claim, and 'Trump', because he tried to blame it on somebody else, I do not believe I referred to anybody else.

I can't answer anything else in your question, as you've really invented and introduced your own scenario and then asked me to respond to it.

When things get too volatile in a short space of time the market systems have built in algorithms to recognise a potential problem and introduce automatic "cooling off" periods.
They allow people to calm down and re-think.
They are a kind of safeguard and are generally a good thing.
All that happened was that these were triggered a number of times due to high buy/sell fluctuations (more than usual).

Although danpoe's obviously ramping I do see 0.5p as a distinct possibillity, depending on positive circumstances which could arise shortly (Loxley, etc).
I am not as optimistic that it will extend beyond those so, I have Sell instructions in place to capitalise quickly.
If executed, my Sell price will give me an immediate profit.
If the price then falls, I may buy back in at a suitable level and wait for the next opportunity to do similar.
If it keeps going up, I'll re-invest that money elsewhere.
I'm still holding a reserve, just in case, and will see what happens.

I'm not here for a lottery win, just profit.
Any profit is good profit.

Yep.
Even if they did circumstances can change.
That's all I'm hoping for.
Currently I'm pessimistic about the future here (and cross because it's been so avoidable).
But, one day, there may be a glimmer of unexpected good news (not just empty, fatuous. fantasy-ramping) that starts a turn-around.
Why I keep moaning about the lack of communication and the unreliability of it when there is any.

Croq, not offering advice to anyone but I have made a lot of money in this by trading.
Can't really do that anymore now as it's so low and not a volatile.
But I've also reduced my avg Buy-in on what I have left here through some occasional trades.
I wouldn't like to suggest when anyone gets in and out (or out and in), merely that it may be worth considering.

As the rampers say, it would be better if the SP were increasing, with a lot more potential for profit.
But it's possible to make your own profit (well, has been for me anyway).
Not often as I say and is still contrary to my usual investment philosophy, I just tried as an experiment and am unable to argue with my own results.

Not trying to influence anyone, just advertise something that may help.
I get nothing out of someone trying or not trying it, or whether they profit or lose from it if they do.
Would just like to see everyone to win from this and trading is how I've made most from it (although I had a 'trading' and 'holding' strategy).
Trading is not some evil investment strategy and some may argue it is riskier.
That may be but we're already investing in AIM in the fist place.
Without a dividend, the only way to profit is to eventually sell, and that's just trading over a longer period.

My posts are still here, in this thread, so you can refer back to them if you wish.
I referred to Trousers claim and subsequent denial (and "Lenny", by way of possible explanation).
