Some sat and traded.
I did both.
Not as much as I used to be able to but there are still opportunities for quick turnarounds here.
I had £50k in here earlier in the year worth only about £25k.
Now back up to about £40k from the odd trade (very small rewards though).
Considering I already took profits before I even invested this £50k, it's still all money i didn't have three years ago.
;)

But yeah.
Some LTH's have been suckered in by the Boiler-Room Rampers.

Soz, he did not suggest the committee should not reject.
He did say all existing objections and concerns had been reviewed, dealt with, and explained, sufficiently as to warrant the committee's support.

Similar to Ibug's post.

David Maxwell was the guy trying to explain to the committee that everything was reviewed, investigated, approved and should not be rejected.
One of only three people whose input brought any value to the last meeting (one from transport, and the other from the committee itself, who all but suggested that the committee objectors might have their own challenges that needed to be dealt with).

While I have some sympathy for environmentalists, who have an admirable aim, the practicality of their desire lies decades away.

Today General Motors announced they want to see twenty all-electric motors in their range by 2023.
Great.
But now go look at all the electric vehicle charging stations around the country.
There are no spaces and queues of cars trying to charge.
You got twenty different models of vehicular transport and nowhere to refuel them.

Buy a diesel.
There are diesel pumps and repair garages everywhere.

By the time you have all-electric facilities to cope with the amount of all-electric vehicles you want in the world, the population will have exploded beyond the number requiring them today and the Lithium required to power them will have run out.
Swampy is as idealistically barking as a boiler room UKOG ramper.
