You were right, I was wrong (though I did always have a 5% reserve chance of a rise on positive news).
I wonder how many of those buyers sold this morning and how many are holding because they believe it will go higher still.
I mention this because of all those who've been caught holding (and sliding) before.

Not sure.
Someone (and "Backwoodsman") recommended a cancer drug delivery company, which went on to do extremely well from covid as they were also able to exploit that situation.
Sadly that happened just after I got out, at 100%.

I got in at around 20p and sold at 40p, although it rapidly continued to more than £2.00 in just a month or so.
Although I missed out, I suggested to a friend who stayed in longer and sold at £1.60, so he did much better.
I'm still happy with what I got.
Learning that ANY profit's a profit and forgetting what you miss out on has been my hardest lesson.

Guessing how much he will go for, I think the immediate panic reaction will be down to around Cynder's estimate and then recover to 0.08 - 0.09p, but less than 0.10p.
Any sufficiently positive news will take it higher again (depending what that is will dictate by how much); Negative lower.

I just sold all the BP shares I bought under £3.75 last week (I did post about it for you) for £4.095.
Believe that's about 10%, thank you very much.
If that was UKOG, I'd be reasonably happy about that.
But I have much more capital invested in BP, so 10% there makes a much bigger profit than I would've here.

A month ago I reduced my holding to 1/4 of my portfolio (from 1/3).
Today it's more than 1/3 again, even after those sales.
(Which is ridiculous for many reasons, not least the risk that concentration poses to me).

So, from that point of view, you were correct;
I am indeed getting what I deserve.

Don't know if I've mentioned this but I've been buying shares in BP (and selling and buying more back).
They're a gas producer and shareholders stand to benefit from the profits they'll make.
Shame UKOG aren't in the same boat.
