Looking at the RNS from 4th May we can expect an update on this clinal trial fairly soon:

'As previously stated, over the next three months, Paraytec plans to conduct a longitudinal clinical study (where patients are monitored over time).'

I sense that this is an important part of the package for potential commercial partners. As we know discussions with commercial partners are taking place they must know this trial is in progress and I can't see why they would finalise a deal without seeing it's outcomes.

Also noteworthy, from the 23rd June RNS:

'A key advantage of the Paraytec test is its potential to distinguish between intact viral particles and residual RNA fragments. It is known that RNA fragments are present in nasal and pharyngeal epithelial cells and can yield a positive PCR test result for several weeks after peak viral load has passed.'

So a significant difference between our test and say current PCR is that it can more accurately tell when an infected subject stops being infectious - Overall an individuals status of infection and how long they have left - whether they just became infected but won't be sick for x days/won't be infectious for x days/will stop being infectious after x days. Data that allows experts to realistically challenge assumptions e.g. is 10 days self isolation correct?

Don't let them get you down. Everyone knows that the SP will fall in these periods when there isn't much news. It's boring but won't change the outcome. Biggest mistakes I have made in the past is selling in situations like this.

I don't get the perceptions about the vaccines. I reflect on what I knew before I had my vaccines:
- I knew the vaccine did not provide 100% immunity. I was confident it would increase my chances of surviving if I got Covid by more than 70%.
- I knew that some individuals respond to the vaccine less than others and that some will not have any immunity from the vaccine.
- I knew that the vaccine would likely only last for a relatively short period and that the immunity would decline after a period.
- Therefore I knew boosters would be needed and that these 'might' be a seasonal thing like the flu vaccine.
- I knew that there was a high chance of side effects and a very very small chance of significant side effects. I was handed a leaflet that explained all that.

I'm not trying to start a fight. One of the reasons to invest in SNG is that it is clear that the vaccine net doesnt catch all the fish and therefore therapeutics are going to be important and in our case SNG is producing a treatment that has wider usage outside of the Covid pandemic.

I just don't think the merits or limitations of one is a reason to disparage the other.

Not that I don't want to see the SP go up so I can make a healthy profit. But from the Boards perspective they will consider that they had a very good year and that special dividend on its own - considering the stated objectives of the company - would suggest someone is doing a very good job indeed.

I meant 'loose' as in divulging information. He is now divulging less information. Semantic but I take your point that it might not mean much but what it doesn't mean is - nothing happening.

There isn't much news so I think Carl's tweets that are in direct response to questions about the covid test are of some anecdotal interest.

I would say that considering the protocol is 'The ACTIV-2 master protocol is designed as a Phase 2 trial that can expand seamlessly to Phase 3'. That we are indeed crossing into Phase 3. Would suggest to me that concluding phase 2 successfully also runs in parallel to setting up Phase 3, hence phase 2/3. I don't really know either but it's looks very encouraging to me.

Not sure about the last update date though.

Slowroll. I think the quiet is down to being in negotiation with third party. Probably can’t divulge much. Carl has been asked and he has tended to just suggest ‘all on track’ or something as brief as that a couple of times in the last month or so as well as liking one of caspers tweets. So I think it’s still in play.

We should of course get updates on the covid test longitudinal study and the Alzheimer’s test in the next month or so as they were RNS’d.

We could genuinely get partnership news on the covid test at any time.

I was just thinking whether the Olympic could have gone ahead with crowds if they had the Paraytec test. Test on entry. Matrix testing. Testing of foreign nationals on entry at the airports. Accuracy and speed = confidence.

This is the message that Prof Carl Smith has been delivering since the Paraytec covid test first came to light - testing is the solution.

Paraytec has developed a second generation test which is capable of solving the problems we now face. One unit in every school, every office, every sport event) often more than one). Think of airports / parliament / all offices. My employer insists on a LFT for everyone entering the office - they are not accurate enough.

Time to get excited about BRH again.
