UK gas-storage capacity has just shot up by an impressive +50% in the last week alone. The UK has plenty of fuel to keep everyone warm.

The UK economy grew +7% YoY in 2021 and is on track for +4% YoY in 2022. The fastest in the G7. For 2 years in a row. Brexit confidence is starting to shine thru, especially among the silent majority who won.

Along with the UK being top of the G7 for 2 years in a row, plus record exports to the EU, we can see Brexit confidence starting to rise nicely.

European banks are suddenly back in fashion. Bank of America, for example, has listed European banks as a top sector pick for 2023. That is what is lifting LLOY back up. Banks are cool again.

PB odds are ridiculous, in the billions. Can't believe people waste their time on them.

Bank of America last week chose "European banks" as their top stock pick for 2023. LLOY may finally see some upside. Unless red Rishi resurrects his bank windfall tax.

In no way whatsoever are Lloyds "stable and secure". The share price has plunged almost every year since 1998, a quarter of a century ago! LLOY is one of the worst stockmarket investments mankind has ever seen. From the credit crunch to PPI to windfall tax, there is always another crisis lurking around the Lloyds corner.

To be fair, the London stockmarket has been in decay since the last century. About a third of companies have been recklessly sold off since the 2000s (mostly abroad), not one single big UK company has emerged to replace them this century (not one), zero tech giants, and falling liquidity is encouraging firms to list abroad. No surprise that London has been overtaken by Paris. It's been a long time coming.

Some Big Issue sellers definitely do carry card-readers, particularly in London.

The NHS is fully funded and overstaffed. Its problems are inept management, communist unions who waste too much time trying to bring down capitalism, and among the lowest productivity rates of any institution or company on Earth. Not to mention its ridiculous structure of siloed regional trusts, which really make it a Local Health Service (LHS) -- not a national one.

It is vital that we don't go back to 1970s USSR.

Shell is pretty much Britain's last remaining major international company. The extremist far-Left frenzy to snatch its cash is bizarre and unsavoury.

Don't think anybody wants to go back to 1970s Soviet Russia, where the state runs everything. We only have to look at today's NHSSR -- where 7 million people are desperate for treatment -- to see how bad life would get under full communism. The idea that somebody like Corbyn or Starmer might run our gas pipelines just doesn't bear thinking about.

Windfall taxes are the domain of failed economic policy and envy politics. It is a panic tax, driven by a weird urge to punish successful people. Wouldn't blame Shell, at all, if they scaled back their UK investments.
