Trading at ~50% of the offer price is a classic sign that shareholders don't believe in the deal. It's a pretty hefty risk premium.

Looks like this is ticking back down toward 1p again.

At some point, the prof and his chums will need another salary top-up. So, another pump and placing cannot be far away.

This "company" has been going for 2 decades (since 2000) and has not a gram of commercial gold to sell...

An utter disgrace.

That it is trading today at ~50% of the offer price suggests most shareholders remain somewhat skeptical of the deal.

Given the heavy and persistent selloff for most of the trading day today, it wouldn't be a surprise if this fell further again tomorrow.

The buyer gets some good product, the Board gets a backslap and probably a tasty bonus, while the sellers (shareholders) get some niche Canadian paper...

"That's the problem with these listed mining companies, they all appoint accountants to run them. No wonder they never actually mine any ore!!!!"...

That's because the vast majority of AIM miners are more focused on financial engineering their own pockets than mine engineering for investors ;-)

It is a low-info, low-visibility, ultra-high-risk Chinese / Hong Kong stock. Feel sorry for the folks who piled in yesterday and have effectively lost 50-80% of their entire stake in 1 day.

With a ~£53m valuation today and gigantic ~167% spread, for a company that plonks a few TV screens in Asian cinema lobbies, youd have to be looby-loo to chase this one.

Here comes the good old prof with another pump before a placing ;-)

KDR is once again trending back toward zero.

The latest RNS uses the same old tactics of jam-tomorrow, laced with fancy new words, such as "up-ice", to make it sound like they are doing something new and exciting... In reality, this is just kicking the can down the road for a few more months until the next placing to fund the prof's pension.

KDR has now been "nearly finding diamonds" for almost 15 years ;-)

Looks like classic bottom-feeding. Doubt it wll rise much from here.

Disgraceful that they upped the shareprice, so they can continue sucking a few more years of cash out of it. New year... same old s*** from the prof.

KDR now near its all-time low. Any close at 0.45p or below will signal a drift toward 0.2p. The only thing that can stop the rot is if they kick out the prof and replace him with someone who won't use the share as a personal cash machine while sitting in the Scandinavian forest playing cards.

After >10 years of pump-and-dump press releases, and massive destruction of shareholder value, investors here need to think carefully. KDR (and CGNR) press releases are always "jam tomorrow". Lowballing production costs looks like another attempt to sweeten the pot before fundraising, Digging stuff out of a pit in freezing, expensive Finland ain't easy. Industry costs for mining are soaring again. Chances are, you can take the official estimate for startup tools and double it. This feels very much like another pump before the dump. Short-term, there may well be a rally here. There is hope the prof will get the boot. But if he clings on, any rally will fizzle out. And the chances of getting walloped with a big fundraising dilution by the prof are high.

Lol... Under £700 of sharetrading has lifted the shareprice by +80%... Looks like bottom-fishing... Results update due in a few weeks... Got some (trendy) China investment... This one will either explode or implode...

The prof has kicked the can down the road for more than a decade at KDR and CGNR... Don't relent. Kick him out.

Need to kick out the prof. Pump-and-dump king.

Time for shareholders to kick out the prof and the board and put them on the dole. Years and years of pump and dump have to stop.

The calculation looks very optimistic. Even the world's most profitable diamond mine (in Botswana) struggles to make a 25% profit. It takes about $100-200 per carat to dig diamonds out the ground. Finland is a very expensive and cold country. With 2m carats available at L, it could cost at least $200m to mine them... delivering $200m revenue... and no profit (or even a loss)... To even begin operations, as per the recent RNS, KDR needs >$40m to buy diggers and plant. That will require a hefty fundraising and dilute shareholders' shares... But dont worry, the prof will keep getting paid his salary / expenses ;-)

Rumours that he had a Clarkson moment and tried to whack someone. Company seems to be in a bit of a mess.

Looks like another KDR pump before the dump (e.g. share placing). Rinse and repeat for the past >10 years.
