Probably best look at the discount BELL, a company in a much better position than ENET, put out this morning to get a placing away. ENET couldnt get enough cash from a placing at the moment for more than a week or twos cash requirement. A share agreement (not a CLN), who would take the risk with the current circumstances on being left with xx% of a company with a rapidly decreasing or worthless shares in a thin market?

The only way forward I can see now is a sale of IP / know how (see, but different, KMK this week). The issue is then have they got anything of value, the market appears to be saying not ?

Deals ? who would contract with such a risk as ENET in their current situation.

So DL expects this to multi bag 60-70x in a two year period and be the best performer on the market, after crashing the share price c 99.94% since float ? As I've said come up with some arguments to justify this.

There are people on here that own shares in this stock but tell others to be very, very wary and backed by facts from following this company a long time and knowing its, and DLs track record of delivering even 0.1% of what he has claimed.

Not sure how many times but you need to read the rns and understand the company. The value is in the IP not the fixed asset, an extrapolation doesnt work.

Its "survived" the year through further dilution and share issuance with the share price falling 90%. There appears to be absolute zero positive change in the underlying business, losing your major customer who were the only reliable source of high margin repeatable income.

Of the contract price most is IP. Extrapolating the sale price back to furnaces shows a.complete.lack.of understanding.

With the use of selective KPIs the trading statement is pretty useless - where is the closing ARR, the renewal rate and the contracted backlog for 2025. Pipeline stats are worthless, unweighted, no close profile etc.

The cash one is there so show some type of cash runway, they need to fill the order book to avoid another discounted rights issue.

I thought this would go up much higher on this announcement, especially with the initial large payment.

But 1. The "operational" business results are just terrible 2. The market has seen it all before with KMK and the BOD, and seem only now to not put a probability weighting until cash is in the bank.

What will be interesting are the management bonuses handed out on the back of this, as the bonus scheme doesnt seem to assess a very large IP sale differently from operational performance.

about two years plus ago him and mr did a presentation round, with mr clearly getting angry that people were not opening their wallets. the last large one was still supported by miton and vela who chucked in £50k and sold about half immediately making a couple of grand.

Cash including debtors to be paid is a very poor / wrong KPI.

Stating unweighted pipeline stats without close dates is complete and total nonsense, might as well throw some dice.

It wasnt a year of consolidation, if youre not going forward with the market youre going backwards.

From an accounting perspective its not that simple.

I expect any fixed assets to be sold at or slightly above NBV, effectively included as part of the deal as KMKs opportunity to utilise these is reduced by this deal - so good to KMK. This will be a small % of the deal.

Intangibles is slightly different. Every year to have to justify the holding value of intangibles based on their future discounted cash flow, the sale of IP reduces this future discounted cashflow and therefore holding value. They have to adjust impacting the P&L.

If I were the CFO I would use the opportunity to clean the balance sheet.

It is selling IP now vs ongoing product sales - how good is the deal based on KMK not being in the strongest negotiating position? The great thing is it shows there is value in the IP, just a pity British PLCs cannot keep hold of it in the medium / long term. You cannot value the company based on the one year earnings.

On the P&L impact. Two areas, sales on fixed asset probably at book value or thereabouts so little margin, on the larger IP side this will result in a recalculation of intangibles (both non cash). Virtually zero "opex".

Negativity is on the interims, the working capital shows a company which is completely and totally out of control.
