Are you his mum or something, you honestly think SOH is a £200k plus massive share options CEO after the last five years ? The performance of OPTI on any measure is just the lowest of the bottom quartile.

These are private companies where the CEOs have founder shares, their remuneration is in the future from a sale. Salaries are low as this avoids dilution, and the way we structure allows gains to be tax efficient.

Best have a look at the ridiculous share options (repriced) in addition to his salary that SOH has.

Of course I'm not going to make them, even if I did it you look at companies house the accounts don't have director salaries.

Letitrun. Part of my role is working on spin outs from scientific research, most have revenues a multiple of opti after a year with their ceos earning a third of soh.

Letitrun, the financials speak for themselves. These aren't the strongest relationships are they though ?

Remember something SOH had spoken to Elrico about about having X number of customers with a run rate over £Xm, X number of customers with a run rate between £0.5m and £1m etc about 3 years ago. OPTI should be self supporting on a cash basis and well past its breakeven point, operationally geared at the bottom line with high gross margin products / royalty streams.

On all possible KPIs OPTI has massively under performed, which is down to the board. A CEO with his salary and massive (and repriced options) shouldn't be patted on the back for an order between £100-250k.

The range of multiples of current share price if Sweet achieves commercial traction in a 2 year period could easily be from 10x to basically sky's the limit.

However looking at the RNSs over time, SOH doesn't seem to understand how and why customers (his customer not the end consumer) makes a buying or even a progress decision - what are their economics and ROI, approval processes and over what time period, time and cost to market, who are the key decision makers to butter up etc. He appears repeatedly ill informed on where OPTI is at a point in time from a CUSTOMER perspective.

Statistically if you believe there is the possibility of a 10000% rise, the probability of it happening is the inverse in the decimal places of a percent.

M. A great summary. With the microbiome being one of the key topics in health it really is amazing just how little the company has achieved in financial results or even more esoteric KPIs like brand recognition and value.

The problem with any RNS with future looking statements, including those which appear 80-100% certain, they are completely disregarded with SOHs history of over promising and completely under delivering.

Until there is cash in the bank (not "sales" as we have seen in the past), anything from SOH, OPTI, Walbrook in an RNS backed by their city nomads is unfortunately completely worthless.

Have a medium term holding here, but did a quick trade earlier in the year - should have kept hold of these now for a 50% + gain.

Another citywire expert view, basically the shore capital perspective which is positive.

The low of the 220s well behind the company, hopefully a gradual climb form where they are.

It would be good to get some rnss on wins between the updates, recognise these are incremental and not necessarily material but a nice rounded update giving confidence would be good.

When I posted the RNS detail you have about 10 days ago it was immediately taken down, probably from a request from Walbrook.

Todays RNS seems to be at complete odds to where they informed the market they were at that time.

Anything from SOH really can be discounted until cash is actually in the bank.

2. Surely they have a timetable here which enables greater clarity

3. From some CEOs who under promise and over deliver "hope" would be seen differently if it wasnt an OPTI RNS.
