We wait with bated breath as Monday comes. Do we expect a firm offer or update before next Monday from Belphar - yep. Would just make my day if someone else has run the slide rule over PAN and steps in with abid - we live in hope :-) Whatever the process 22p is still and insult given the stabilisation and massive prospects going forward.

for Belphar.They have till 5pm on the day of the meeting (18th) to either announce a firm intention to make an offer for PAN in accordance with Rule 2.7 or announce it doesn't. You only have to look at, for example, today's offer by Oxford Instruments for Andor at a 69% premium to realise how disrespectful this bid is at 22p. Especially given the rate of growth and cash generation of PAN and that we are working at capacity. Let's have a sensible figure at least.

I think you'll find that the 200k posted sell is a buy at 20p.

Till the postponed meeting. I'm wondering if we'll get a revised offer early next week or hopefully a white knight in the guise of Monjasa with a sensible bid. Sure its keeping Simon and the BoD busy at the moment. Nice to think we're running at capacity on all fronts. We sometimes get so engrossed in volumes at our 400000 cu metres in Dan Balt, PBI and Baltic Top that we forget our 50% investment in Rosbunker. It is a massively growing business pulling in £2.5m profit per annum. I am sure that this is the bit that Belphar want most with the rest as the icing on the cake! We all see the Euro business as the moneyspinner with Rosbunker as the treasure chest. Hopefully we will eventually realise a price that is fair to all rather than an insult to our intelligence. As you'll have gathered, this is a great board of well-informed investors. We really welcome any new investor on board and everyone tries to help you. Most of us are seasoned investors who have made money and mistakes in the past. But..... Fresh faces and ideas are always welcome. Great to have enthusiasm joining the crew ad we all respect the diverse views. This board is truly unique - I really enjoy it as everyones opinion is equal and there is humour but no back-biting. Just ask your broker for a proxy form for the EGM on November 18th. They will send one for you to cast your vote either for or (hopefully) against the 2 resolutions. Put your x in each box and return in the SAE to your broker. They will cast a vote on your behalf. If you wish to go to the meeting yourself, just tick the extra box and they will send an attendance card. If you attend, your vote at the meeting will onetime any previous votes. Dead simple really. Thanks for your interest and thanks for your vote. I am sure the CEO would agree. As the BoD have recommended - don't sell your shares - be patient and wait for developments/better offer :-)

Please heed all the PI comment on the board and support the BoD. We have a great company that's gone through the rapids and is now being steered masterfully through smooth water. Stay aboard and join the fight for fair play. Roll on the 18th and hope you're there lending your (not insignificant) support.

Apparently these are small sales as a result of small income fund redemptions so nonspecific and therefore bear no reflection on AXA stance. Really glad that it is insignificant in the scale of things. I was going to start picking them up :-)) just to slow Belphar

Just ring the BoD and state your position regarding the Shakidi bid. Either way just stop playing silly b*ggars. Get behind the PI's and join the campaign to get true value for our assets. Don't bend over slowly and get shafted like Hepworth + Hurley. Where's the backbone when we need it - come on chaps!

as usual. There are a million and one reasons to stay with the initial BoD advice and 'not sell your shares'. Personally I can think of three: 1] The Shakidi/Belphar offer is opportunistic, derisory and quite frankly - insulting. I am sure the remaining II's are of the same opinion as they have held for more than the small time-frame against which Belphar is making this offer. 2] We have had firm indications from the company that a Rosbunker Resolution is 'on the cards' before April 2014. That probably involves a Russian bank or large player who obviously sees the value of the massively increasing business and asset value that is in our 50% share of Rosbunker - that 50% is secured in Russian law and is worth around £22.5m INCREASING by the month as it is highly cash generative. 3] Monjasa - a multi £billion DANISH bunkering specialist - has recently dedicated a 2 year old vessel MT San Padre Pio to Dan Balt at Aabenraa [our £26m new-built SOTA facility] for the purpose of fuel transhipment. Aabenraa is on its home ground and adjacent to its busiest shipping lanes. Would you want to see Belphar grab a terminal that offers everything in which you specialise from right under your nose? On your home ground? That is why I have contacted their pro-active CEO on several occasions to highlight the fact that a fair bid pitched around £32m would secure a SOTA £26m Danish terminal plus an additional £23m of cash-generative assets. THAT would be a FAIR price for both parties IMHO. Each would prefer more but £32m is fair to all. So hold your shares as we have been advised and await the outcome of events. I am certain that there are lots of options currently available to the BoD and we now have time to evaluate them before 18th November. All IMHO.

Belphar is a one-man operation http://www.belphar.com/ aimed at the 'natural resources sector' - hence the 'go back and do your homework and come back with a sensible offer or shut up' stance of the BoD. This first shot of the Shakidi cannon was well wide of sensible - don't let the toe-rag accumulate shares on the market, make him pay a fair price.

Excellent to see the new board members and good attendance for meeting. Strict takeover rules mean that total adherence to protocols was required and this was perfectly demonstrated by CEO. It is obviously frustrating to take a day out of your routine to attend a meeting which is subsequently postponed. However, nothing can substitute the 'feel' of such a meeting and the interpretation of body language and nature of those persons present as Pantastic related above. I came away with a very positive feeling of cohesion and resolution within the BoD, something not hitherto apparent with Healey and Simpson on the flanks. Top marks to Simon and his continued professionalism during what has been an obviously busy and distracting fortnight. I have no doubts in my own mind that the guy who single-handedly secured our 50% share in Rosbunker in the Russian courts will not be fazed by Belphar. Our CEO has more b*lls than Belphar, Hurley and Hepworth combined. To quote another guy with guts: Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning. And yep: a coffee and a biscuit would be nice on the 18th - unless its Krug time?

On the channel 5 equivalents when you have LSE the 'BBC' for investor comment? This board is undoubtedly the most informative and civilised - combining serious comment and humour without insults. Each regular contributor actually holds PAN shares and has an informed comment which is respected. True diplomacy without the brainless blobfish elsewhere. Small shareholders can make a real difference and we are prepared to band together at PAN to prove it. However, with a day to go before the general meeting, I believe that Simon has managed to secure a vote rejection using the bigger II's who will have been equally affronted by the 22p derisory offer from Belphar. Hepworth and Hurley probably share the same underwear; hence they jumped into bed together and sold out cheap. The other II's are a little more savvy (I sincerely hope) and have their own exit price strategies or long term growth objectives. 'Don't sell your shares' therefore still stands. Like Pantastic, I'm attending the meeting tomorrow - this is second only to having a cup final ticket!!
