A very strange morning. My order for 300k at 5.9p went unfulfilled despite hitting the price. Now it’s moving north again. Not sure what this mornings price activity was all about really, the MMs can’t have much stock so a suppressed sp wasn’t going to encourage anyone to sell! Buyers back in now but are there shares to buy? Have the placing shares all worked their way through now?

Well the bid has dropped in steps with the ask static. Not much incentive to trade atm. Having said that you can buy well below the ask so the price is dropping.

Well it is possible to be enthusiastic without constantly repeating and regurgitating the same old hyperbole. I have no problem with people raising and discussing new insight or bringing a new perspective on things. But, as with the perpetual de-rampers, it’s just the same old thrown back and forth until someone oversteps the mark and it becomes abusive. Sorry, I must sound a right old curmudgeon.

Oh it’s looking very quiet all of a sudden. The ask is below 6p now and I can buy 300k shares. What’s changed?

I placed a fill or kill at 6p last night and it was killed this morning.it seems down is not an option!

Wim777, I think you might be right. If they’ve cleared the CCS loan that suggests to me that the purchase of Mt Winter has probably moved forward too.

Well no, not a shame at all, a great opportunity. I plan to buy in again if it does!

I suspect we’ll see this back in the 5s soon. I can’t really understand why given the volumes but the MMs really don’t want to let this fly

I’m all bought out atm, too much of my portfolio in GEX so sitting tight. However, I have some cash from selling a slice of my RIO stock so am tempted to buy here again if we have another dip. Keeping my powder dry for now.

Yeah, I’m pleased to see that despite the raft of new shares landing, the SP has held firm and not drifted down to the 3p range again as many predicted. Fingers crossed with the trading volumes all the new shares will have sold by the end of the week and demand will remain unsatisfied forcing further increases in the ask.

Thanks M22C, it’s possible that the exact details haven’t actually been agreed. In fact I suspect only an outline atm until spud and composition and flows are better understood. There will be a further significant spend required for volume processing so I suspect you’re right to assume any revenue will be a fair way off, hopefully less than two years from now

M22C, as you were there can you tell us what the agreement is for wellhead sales? Does the first £25m go to Harlequin or is there stepped agreement? It makes sense for GEX to have a revenue stream asap to avoid the need to keep raising working capital but equally the initial terms should favour repaying Harlequin. Has this been made public?

And up again, 8300 as I type. My next sell point is 8500!

Well I’ve just sold a 1/3rd of my holding at 8250 which is just shy of a 100% return. Can’t complain at that and while I have a feeling the rise could continue, if it has another 5% drop I might get back in!

I’m a bit clueless to what is actually driving the price here. One minute it seems unstoppable, then it takes a 5% hit yet seemingly recovers again and continues up. Anyone have a feel for the true ceiling? I was looking to take a profit at 8250 a few weeks back but it sank. Now it’s back I’m tempted to hold a little longer.

Would help confidence if someone had proofread the announcement and made sure the date was correct. Wrong year stated!
