If you watched the SONA last night you would know that there are significant plans in place that could put the SA economy on boosters. Coupled with a possible future investment pivot from the UK...

Of course clearly speculative, but if we just dealt in the doom and gloom all the time we wouldn't have much sentiment on SA economy as a whole would we?

In my mind V put aside for any Eskom tender only puts more pressure on the structural deficit and therefore V price, and by extension said re-rate (hopefully)

Arriving at the same/similiar conclusion via different routes perhaps, but all good.

OK thanks - obvs any Eskom news would come amid a backdrop of V rises this time around, so maybe that is something to think about
