Just had an automated FT message -
HE1:LSE volume exceeds 10 day average by 9.87%
On the move it seems
I think we have to remember Nobles on site results, as someone said it was RNS so could not be be a lie, if they managed to flow free gas to the surface, theoretically from deeper depths / higher pressures we shouldn’t have a problem .
Bluebay, yup, just a bit more of waiting, which in fairness we should be used to. It does concern me a little how we are possibly doing all this leg work to potentially prove up license areas owned by others, old relatives of HE1, as skittish alluded to. Still, It is what it is.
Worldwidepleb, with Mud logs too 😜
Correct, which will be ‘months’ away. Cash burn, I won’t say anything else.
This is turning into a bit of a dog, should be a very positive day, maybe Lorna is tired, I didnt get much of a buzz from the interview. Fingers crossed they can wire line without any further issues / getting the tool stuck, and fingers crossed Nobles results don’t come back poor in the meantime.
Crusty, true, but they have apparently already being engaging in exploring off take opportunities since Tai1, so hopefully there is a plan.
Guess that Nobles lab results will be indicative of the basin. Should Give us a clue.
@cromw3ll, that’s how I see it, the geology and planned drill have played out 💯, they drilled through the sealing top basement layers, into the basement where they drilled into the fracture, the trap / seal are obviously functioning, they hit it, big time, imo this will tick up quickly over the coming days now as people understand what exactly has happened. The seal / trap secnario is proven.
@Loggylog, perfect translation thanks for that 👍🏻
I think you’re missing the point about depth, they found the fracture, the gas flows from source through these fractures, if you drill into the conduit (fracture) of the migrating gas of course you would stop.
Interestingly for the Twitter update they have found a large gas cylinder to photograph, if that’s not a nod and a wink sign I don’t know what is.
Interesting Skit, interesting why Minchin gave up those jigsaw licenses, apparently to former HE1 characters, obviously never played monopoly as a kid. Noble own a lot more than I realised.
Ejt7777, I reckon the geologist in Lorna will keep drilling till she knows exactly what is in the basement, it’s the holy grail that they couldn’t get to last time, if the hole so far is behaving stability wise and giving results as expected, I can’t see any way she’s coming away from there without perforating the basement seal and then some. I don’t think she is the type of person who will want to hang around for months on end again waiting for another go, she’s young, ambitious, she wants to know one way or another , the same as we do.
I thought that was Radio 4 first thing, tweet of the day . Song thrush my fav. We used to at one time back in the days if Tai-1 mention the different adverts that appear on these boards, in the days of Tai 1 I was getting luxury watches, private charter yaught holidays , prior to the rig purchase that had morphed into sets of pots and pans and low end womans lingerie lol, this mornjng for the first time ever I have wall to wall Carlsberg ads, I’m taking that as a positive sign in the vein of “if Carlsberg did Helium mines…” rather than the other suggestion that the share is driving me towards drink 😜 . GLA, we should be optimistic here given Nobels whole Ruckwa update, still seems to be no leaks too.
From nobles statement, and what was discussed here last week, I thought it was interesting that even the much more expensive 3D seismic gave poor data in terms of what the target volumes may be, or does that require different testing, does the seismic 3D or 2D only give the make up of the strata / layers.
Apparently they’re struggling to get permission to use the phrase “you’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off “, Micheal Caine sleeps in on a Monday and Lorna is refusing to publish an RNS without it 😜
Noble Twitter,

Yeah I’d agree, couldn’t get a much better report from that drill. Seems if I understood it correctly that they flowed free gas to the surface, which HE1 failed to do at tai1, and what they have found is considerably bigger than was expected. Surely massive re rating due if we deliver a similar report.
Joe, yes an interesting read, “In 1987, in the village of Bourakébougou, a driller was left with burns after a water well unexpectedly exploded as he leaned over the edge of it while smoking a cigarette.”. 😳😂😂
