Good luck robleo. I took the plunge here only a month ago but I am already showing a good profit. I see this as a decent long term hold.

Out of all the stocks I hold in my SIPP portfolio, ALGW is easily the most volatile! The SP really is all over the place. While I would prefer a bit of stability, as long as the price continues to rise over the long term I will still be happy. I have held for quite a while now and have no intention of selling as I see the potential here.

Lloydiee69, some stocks are susceptible to big swings in the SP so you have to take the rough with the smooth. In my opinion it's important not to put all your eggs in one basket and aim for a balanced portfolio to help minimise any losses.

Not seen that site before Terry so thanks for posting it up. Hopefully it might encourage a few more buyers. 4p would be good by year end and would set us up nicely for 2021. Good luck to all ALGW holders.

Good post alwayshoping. I also prefer to sit on the sidelines but do post every now and then. Given the turmoil in the markets today the SP seems to be holding up nicely. Merry Christmas to all ALGW holders and here's hoping for a better 2021.

Camkite, I don't think Giles is being negative, just cautious

I have a relatively modest holding with Zoe but it's by far and away the best performer in my SIPP portfolio. I decided yesterday to do my bit to support the company by buying my wife some Zoe beauty products online for Xmas. They arrived in under 24 hours. The packaging on the products looks really classy. You can see they have put a lot of thought into this.

I have held shares in ALGW for about a year now. I usually keep a low profile on this forum but in response to your post Bots I think we all just need to be cautious. While we can't rule out a change in the fortunes of the company there was a fairly big rise in the markets today and I am sure this will have contributed to the significant rise in the ALGW SP. Personally I am still optimistic that this will come good. Best of luck to all long term holders.

I have been an ALGW for a while now but very rarely post on here and usually prefer to sit on the sidelines. Having said that I do like my music and that's a good choice Bluepanther! Hopefully there will be some good news soon. I am happy to wait. Given the carnage on the markets in the last few days I do ask myself if the board are waiting for the right time to release any positive news. Fingers crossed and good luck to all ALGW holders.

I am invested in Tullow, part of my SIPP portfolio. I regularly follow this board although I rarely post on here. I agree with everything you have said, particularly your final sentence.

It's looking grim at the moment but I am ever the optimist so hopefully some good news is on the horizon.
