I have been an ALGW for a while now but very rarely post on here and usually prefer to sit on the sidelines. Having said that I do like my music and that's a good choice Bluepanther! Hopefully there will be some good news soon. I am happy to wait. Given the carnage on the markets in the last few days I do ask myself if the board are waiting for the right time to release any positive news. Fingers crossed and good luck to all ALGW holders.
I am invested in Tullow, part of my SIPP portfolio. I regularly follow this board although I rarely post on here. I agree with everything you have said, particularly your final sentence.
I am sure you are right Evenstevens and I'm certainly not qualified to question your judgment but as an amateur investor I am really struggling to understand what is holding back the SP. I realise there is the obvious issue of banking covenants, refinancing etc to address but given the substantial assets the company holds surely it makes sense for the SP to be much higher.
I agree Timmy. I must admit I am starting to get a little concerned at the continuing fall in the value of the SP. How much lower could it go? I have considered cutting my losses and getting out but will wait a little longer to see if any good news emerges.
I very rarely post on here but felt compelled to do so due to my concern about the continuing fall in the SP. I am an amateur investor and have a GMS holding in my SIPP. Have held for a while now in the hope that something positive might happen but the graph doesn't look good. Would be a shame to sell as I do see the potential for an upside. Would be nice if the company were to provide some kind of reassurance to investors by giving us an update on the discussions with the banking syndicate.
