I sold up a few days ago. Have I lost money? Yes but I decided it's better to put what is left elsewhere than take any more risks with ALGW. There's other opportunities out there and hopefully my investment with EEE will help recover what I have lost here. I don't think this is going anywhere sadly. To all those long term holders who have decided to stick around I wish you the best of luck.

Contrary to what you have just said i do recall a post in which you offered to ‘sort it out’ with another poster at Surrey Quays. What was meant by that post exactly? This page was at one point a serious discussion board but it’s now a complete joke due to the nonsense spouted by one individual. We get it that you are not happy about the auditor situation. We get it that you are not happy about comms or the AUM. We get it that you don’t approve of the CEO’s shareholding. We understand that you are a trader, that you short the stock on spikes and buy on dips to make a profit. You just keep on posting the same stuff over and over again. Can’t you understand why people have had enough? Give it a rest man!

Alma, I couldn’t care less whether it’s 0.001 or 0.1. The point I was making is that 500k is a miniscule amount compared to the overall number of shares issued

Yes you are free to comment on any stock you like as you say but then in the next breath you slate the performance of the company! Your comments have always been negative for as long as i can remember despite your claims that you left here with a profit! Why don’t you explain to all other visitors to this board what your agenda is here because it’s a mystery to me. What exactly is your beef with ALGW and do you do a similar thing on other boards? As it’s the season of goodwill i will wish you a Merry Xmas and a prosperous New Year.

Bit of a stretch calling it a ramp. It was simply an observation. I’m not ashamed to admit i’m no expert. I’m just an amateur investor like a lot of people who trade in shares for their ISA or SIPP. Your opinion doesn’t matter anyway as you are not even invested in ALGW. Why are you still here?

I can understand your frustration Bluepanther but i remain optimistic that the long wait will be worthwhile. I recently took another look at last year’s end of year accounts. Around 80% of the entire share capital is in the hands of 10 individuals or organisations. This includes Hargreaves Lansdown, Lloyds Banking Group and AJ Bell, obviously major players in finance and investment. They clearly see the potential here.

Interesting comment Daisy. I hadn't realised you had sold up. I noticed on a previous comment on LSE that you bought into GCM on 21st July at 5.10. Less than 5 months later those shares are now trading at 1.90 and yet you continue to slate ALGW. You would have been better off staying here!

Still trying to find some positives amid all the gloom. In the absence of any TR1's, I assume none of the major shareholders have sold any of their holdings?

The substantial shareholders section also caught my eye csjzrh01. I was unaware that Hargreaves Lansdown had such a large stake in the company. Making a profit is what business is all about and the company is in profit so plenty of positives as far as I can see!

I thought the results were due today?

I virtually never make SP predictions but I think you could be right on this one Raaydaar. The broker's note gave an indication of what we could expect to see in the year end results. If the company is in profit then that would be excellent news and I would expect to see the beginnings of a re-rating.

'No one knows for sure what will happen'. So it's a huge risk then and you could end up losing all your money! I really don't care what happens to COPL. All I am interested in is seeing a decent return on my investment with ALGW which will happen in the near future. If you want to comment further on COPL why don't you help out a few investors with your words of wisdom on the COPL board?

That's really enlightening. Been staring into the crystal ball again? Last week you were singing the praises of COPL saying the shares were a steal at 6.38. They are now trading at 6.25. I don't think I will be paying too much attention to your predictions. Very happy with my investment here.
