I for one would love to know exactly what the ownership structure is these days. I say exactly because I recon we can't be far off 90% belonging to a handful of individuals, and we all know what that would trigger. The key is who holds the rest. IMO PIs only amount to about 3 or 4% while funds hold just over 10. In most cases these sort of figures would mean the end game was near, but with Slavic logic in play you just don't know.

Maybe the bid will include vodka, caviar, honeys and a dacha timeshare.

Thinking about this a bit more, there's no need for them to talk to each other so I retract my previous comment. All that needs to happen is for the concert party to buy up another big chunk on the open market and for them to then put together a takeover proposal in cooperation with the directors. Together they would need to break the 90% threshold. So all that is required is for the big independent shareholders to put their shares up for offer on the market and for the concert party to buy them there once they are happy with the price being offered. IMO a good time to do this would be during the morning auction, hence that could be why the price appears to do odd things around this time.

I'm sure that the concert party is in discussions with the remaining large independent shareholders about how much they want. 35.75 maybe just maybe the price being put forward for debate by one side of the table.

Its not surprising that there's been changes both on he board and in CFO. Tom did a good job keeping this ship afloat. The guy deserves more credit than most, buy I see the company entering a new phase now.

So which is a safer investment at the moment? Gold or club med bonds.The paper mountain is looking pretty unstable at the moment, and like all good ponzi schemes, when they turn they crash. No wonder China and Russia are so long on gold at the moment. And where will this share price head when gold shoots past $1400 with no intention of stopping?

IMO some serious accumulation has been going on. Sometimes I feel like aside from the 3 Amigos, Mastin, Schroders and maybe Henderson there's only half a dozen of us still hanging in there. As for the shorters, they've wisely backed off since you can't make money shorting if no one will sell to you when you want to close out.

My a#se there isn't. Gold going up like a rocket. Production up. And a hugely depressed share price brought down on piddly volumes. Cost are higher than a couple of years ago, but given the're stockpiling gold and not rushing to sell it I'd say cashflow is under control.

Good news on the Q4 production numbers.

People are still buying. Gold up as people seeking a safe haven. Not saying this share will soar soon, but I can't see many shares being sold under 6p and so its only up from here. No doubt H will now repost the same old RNS extracts which we've all read a 100 times. All they tell us is why the SP has dropped to 6p on fairly thin trading. Meanwhile the vast majority of shareholders are keeping the faith.

Somebody would appear to be playing games, and judging by the lack of large sales, its not fooling anyone.

IMO the low volume is a good sign that nobody dare short this share
