Good news comes in threes! RF gone .. PH gone .. any thoughts on preferred third piece of good news?

I agree Ancientarcher. I’ve had a significant investment in the Falklands for 15 years now and have been mercilessly ridiculed for my investment by friends, some in the oil industry, so I would love to have the chance to gloat through the room on first oil!!

When we hit 9p briefly in 2021 with 3.4 billion shares the market cap was approx £300 million which is the highest it reached I believe. Thoth’s 28p target represented approximately £1 billion market cap. My calculation is that a £1 billion market cap today gives a share price of about £9. Not far to go .. couple bits of good news and a good licensing deal or a takeover and we’re there!

Think that may be the all time closing high. I was planning to sell out at £1.50 but can only really see it going one way at the moment so have set a 10% running stop loss instead.

We have a couple they could include if they were interested !

The dilution alone would drag the recommendation from 3.04 to 1.91; however given that we are now nearly 12 months into testing of 1801 I would have thought a recommended price way higher than 1.76 would have been appropriate but we have seen nothing from PH to indicate they are actually in there batting for SAR so nothing surprises.

If Gordon Brown was invested in GGP he would be selling at 8am Monday; he all know what a good judge he is of gold investment!!

And a £ billion market cap is around £9.20 a share now compared with £14 a share back in 2021 (the fabled 28p a share target at that time).

Getting back close to the pre consolidation price of 1p (now 50p) the average price 2016 to 2020 and we all know what happened in 2021! Happy to see history repeat itself and would sell a few at £4 iwhen we get back up there!

So not too bad an outcome Bailiff on the SAR side! I doubled up gradually between 12-16p and now have 50,000 at an average of 45p (but did sell 1/3 in June 2021 so well in profit overall) so not as heavily invested here as many but hold lots of other high risk stuff that gets me out of bed in the morning in retirement like RKH, GGP, BOR, BOIL, GST, POW, HE1, TRP, GFM, ARV as well as Polar and Herald Investment Trusts which give collective exposure to technology stuff.

Weirdly they did some of us a favour .. never thought I would get the chance to double my holding at 12p but still glad they disappeared along with RF just need PH to disappear now to restore normality

I don’t think MRHA did reject 1801. My recollection is that they required more information from SAR but such was the incompetence of MRHA they never told SAR what extra information they needed so SAR gave up with them and quickly sought an alternative test environment. Happy to be corrected on this.

I’d be wary of any climate change related information coming out of Yale! Just out of interest China accounted for 95% of the world’s new coal power construction activity in 2023 and they produced twice as much per capita CO2 as UK so they have a long way to go!

Sorry correction! Double checked and U.K. only produces 1% of World CO2 emissions (China, India and USA produce 50% together) so even less reason for us to beat ourselves up over our emissions. Also the worst case scenario rise in sea level by the end of this century is 1.3m to 1.6m so the U.K. not building any more new properties within 5m of sea level seems like common sense to me if we are looking to protect ourselves.

Don’t get me going on benefits either! 7 million people of working age receiving 80 billion in benefits; over £11,000 per person .. absolutely ridiculous. I would halve them and use the proceeds to increase the annual tax allowance to 18,000. We need incentives for work not benefits for not working. Our country has gone mad!

We can’t do anything to stop the impact of climate change in U.K. we produce less than 2% of emissions. The last thing we should do is destroy our economy with stupid gesture politics via net zero targets. We have oil and gas let’s use it. We can manage the consequences of global warming in U.K. by prohibiting any more building within 5 metres of sea level from today. Over 100 years we could rebuild our housing stock at a safe distance from sea level.

Good question certainly very late compared with previous 3 years!
