this may be a silly questions, but given the fact the royalties are only tied to the exisitng wells and not new wells, is it sensible to spend capital on veliocity strings for the exisitng? would they not be better to push ahead with the new wells instead given the 8% royalties savings on that could be achieved?

This is the problem, they are so laden with debt as it stands i dont see how they would get fiance a decent rates for anything new and their management experience does not inspire confidence, although new managememt may help lighten that black mark.

Any one that is willing to bring angus on board or sell to angus is already in a bad position or offloading a problem. I dont see what any mergers or acqusitions are coming from other than development of their other assets which is a questionable possibility at best or selling a percentage share of SFB..

We heard this all before with Mercuria & every other board appointment, it is generic..

They are not going to say the new appointee is useless or that one of their biggest shareholders will make no difference or be detrimental to the company or that they are not looking for new opportunities or growth..

I am guessing the recent rise was in anticipation of the rig arriving to brockham which was meant to be early Q2. Since the mid point of Q2 is approx 7 days away, news should be immeninet (in real time, not angus time). I am guessing the retreat was some getting out..

the potential sting in the tail to this new chapter of angus, is the lack of details around the new offtake agreement. To my knowledge we still have no definitive detail on that, unless i am mistaken.
