As Hits & other have said for a while, this is Boom or Bust.. it is hugely undervalued if everything works out according to plan.. its value if things go wrong , really depends on how badly wrong and how much of the hedge we end up subsiding..
Progress looks good on site and we are nearing the completion of a few milestones and getting Gas flowing which is why there is understandable optimism and rightly so. but that is not where this project ends, it ends after the side track and there a significant consequences , either positive or negative, depending on its success..

I was responding to the question i was asked by BV.

Firstly: this is the first i heard of this or seen on this board.. Is it correct to use the pronoun 'some' when its just you with multiple ID's or are you part of a group elsewhere where you assume others are like you with multiple ID's and theorize about who they could be?
Secondly: : i dont really care if you have me "down as part of thee Swamps ille crew". You just make things up anyway and decide whatever suits you to be a truth and a fact.. and as per usual your wrong.. and you have had conversations with yourself on this board using 2 ID's agreeing with yourself and telling yourself your right..so what you think of me does not matter

Also I do think there is a certain Irony in that, on Aprils fools day, the weeks of endless posts about Q1 gas, has been conclusively proven incorrect..

Sillybuttons, those figures are fine with me with the PE Ratio I have in front of me, but ask yourself why would anyone go to the trouble of calculating revenue when not invested???

BV to answer your question, I don't know why someone would go to the trouble when not invested.
it could be malice and it could be philanthropy.. i don't know..
Regardless of the motivation, I have found HITS post to be generally useful. an echo chamber is of no use to anyone.. I had not listed to the interview or done the calculation myself when the arguments were going on yesterday but it has been clarified today and HITS was right.. to be honest if HITS did not point it out, I would have accepted the figures of the interview like many.. has it changed any action I was going to take, no but I do feel better informed
I find HITS post more informative than Gideons/Sparrowhawk1, Viva Angus, green hogwash etc

to be fair there was very little debate.. it was primarily a few statements that the interview figures were inaccurate/ exaggerated/ unrealistic, and "but George said" and insults thrown back
The argument was caused because of figures used in the interview. the inconsistency in figures used from the company should not be happening .
But it would be nice to have actual debate & information on the board without the insults..

It is the unnecessary concern caused by not providing a Gantt chart I find annoying.. !

Just as you mention the fuel skid on the 17th March is the next monitorable date we have, it may not be on the critical path so if it slips a week or 2, it may not have any impact on the first gas & production..
but a slip will may cause concern and loss in confidence by investors, almost regardless of what the company say.
it just seems unnecessary for the sake of printing the Gantt chart they have in pdf and sticking on the website..

Yanis, I agree with your anticipated time line, however we should not be debating this, we should be told..
the vagueness of the communication is not helping the SP and investor confidence.. although i know historically with this angus, specifics haven't always been delivered.. Given the lovely graphic they could produce for the SFB investor update RNS, you think they could manage to produce a Basic Gannt chart and stop us discussing & second guessing the dates because they wont tell us..
I one sense I understand the manage expectations approach but being vague just has me wondering is there something I am missing/ haven't thought about, that posses a risk to completion on time..

For example From the SFB update they stated "Pipe-work is about 15% complete with pipe now being set to racks"
I know as you say below it will be installed and tested between now and commissioning.. I don't see why they could not say the pipework will be complete with installation of last skid (which I assume it will be) or something to that effect.. it would be just reassuring to provide an expected definite end to the pipework installation instead leaving it open ended and open to possible view that potential issue with pipework and have avoided giving end date for reason..
Similar to the "continue to hold "subbies, and "expecting" Q1 gas but might slip into April..in my opinion they new it would be April but provide positive news even if unlikely and cover themselves that the market was informed..

While I agree May is in May, I do see where nom is coming from.. First Gas & Production are 2 separate milestones.. first RNS has commissioning and Production in May while second RNS only states first gas (During commissioning period I would expect) by End of May..
As I stated previously about the SFB Update, it did not give a definitive date for first gas or production, it was very specific on the skid installation dates and then got all very vague on pipework completion, commissioning and production, no dates, no durations..

My interpretation of the time line from the SFB Update was side track end of June after few weeks production ( 2 or 3) which would put production commencing the end of May/Start of June so you would have envisaged first gas & commissioning to be mid May. I do not know, but I would assume at least 2 weeks for commissioning.. but maybe shorter..

so while a month is probably a bit of an exaggeration, I can see the logic behind why nom statement/view that this as a slip, i can also see how you conclude May is May and no there is change. problem is no definitive dates from the BOD..
The BOD should really be able to clarify this by giving a outstanding work schedule with dates, it is one of the basic requirements of Project management so they should have it and it should readily available. Or at least the should be able to state it will take 1/2/3 etc weeks to commission..

I wonder is the extension because they have not given an exact date for production?
Specific dates have been provided for equipment installation but no dates given for pipe work completion, completion of commissioning and production. I know they say a few weeks production prior to side track in due but you would just expect at this stage they could put a firm date on it.
I wonder is it the Planning and EA permit variation approvals the reason they cant give a firm date?
or am I just reading too much into it and over analyzing it..

BV I do have a long way to go yet..
I probably should average down again or have already averaged down but angus is already a disproportionately large % of my overall portfolio due to averaging down.
While the RNS is positive and provides better understanding of the time lines, the risks are still there and It still feels like a boom or bust scenario so have been reluctant to pump more money in.. Also would have to sell others to free up cash which makes it a harder decision.. All eggs in one basket and all that..

just over 2.8036.. its odd because I have average down 6 times from the initial 9.20
