LONDON, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Theo Fennell PLC: * Extension of panel deadline * Panel ha s consented to an extension of the deadline * The company remains in offer discussions with eme Must be serious talks and you would hope an offer / more bidders would now be fourthcoming!!!!!
It was the same before the bid RNS was announced - some large transactions took place a few days before it was annouced. Some insider knowledge perhaps......or is is just a few people willing to bet something is coming - we shall see later today in any case! I have my fingers crossed in any case:)
Any news would be good news but this would surely guarentee an increase in revenues - not many can say they are the queens official jeweller...fingers crossed anyway:) SP must make a move north at some stage: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/celebritynews/9190832/Theo-Fennell-has-designs-to-be-the-Queens-new-royal-jeweller.html
Fantastic value - with cash reserves and profits FCCN is progressing very nicely in comparison to most in the retail sector. With two years of profits, no debt and cash reserves more that half of the market cap there should be nothing to worry about for shareholders. Looking forward to a nice rise to results day and for the long term growth of this successful company. This share should be somewhere nearer 70p in the near future IMHO.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/news/spotlight-on-celebrity-jeweller-theo-fennell-6277759.html Heavy Investment in Business explains losses and with a good Christmas in its increased concessions this will be well on the way to profit this year. Just wait fior Jan trading statement! Get in now before its too late:) DYOR GLA
luxury jeweller Theo Fennell fell 0.5p to 16.5p after reporting losses increased from £877,000 to £1.045m, which it said reflected investment in its website and a UK wide marketing campaign. Analyst Amisha Chohan at Merchant Securities said the business could be a target for a larger predator: We believe there is scope for the group to miss current full year market expectations of pretax profit of £0.1m and earnings per share of 0.5p. However, the business does have a strong balance sheet with tangible net asset value of £6.2m, exceeding the current market capitalisation of £3.9m. The asset backed nature of this business encourages us to initiate with a buy. We believe Theo Fennell could be an acquisition target.
with a new website, the recent pr promotions (x factor) magazines etc, increased concessions both at home (30+ now in the UK) and abroad now is the time to be investing NOT selling shares at these absolutly ridiculous prices. One of the big risks we had was agreeing a continued banking facility and overdraft which was agreed at similar terms in september. Annoucement at the end of Sept showed sales were up by 10%. The Interims will be released in a couple of weeks 12th Dec allowing theo to also update the markets on how the christmas trade is going. By the looks of all the pointers and items which have sold out on their website http://www.theofennell.com/ all updates will be very positive and the post christmas update will also confirm this IMHO . These are exciting times for Theo with further expansion in asia and america set for next year and a hopeful return to profit after three years in the red. If I had more funds available I would be investing now at these ridiculous levels, the company has a market cap of just over £4m but has an inventory worth over £8m. People need to wake up and invest at these ridiculous levels before they miss the boat IMHO. Just wait and see what will happen - these will be tipped after the Interims are announced and like last year I hope to see them double and potentially more in a short space of time. Just look at Mulberry £2 last June £19 this June. The lux market is one of the only ones which will survive these torid times!!
Get in there! - someones getting in at a fantastic price and will definately make a significant amount over the coming months GLA

No problem atall my friend its all in good banter - I must say I was very surprised by the dramatic fall in SP and may have been doubting that something more foul was afoot had it continued but the refreshingly quick communication from the company, new asian & us initiatives, solid results, first 12 weeks +15% and a view that they will return to profit this year has put my mind at rest. I think we could all do alot worse than investing in quality british products. Good luck and hope that you earn a decent return if you invest. I can see a nice ride from now on. IMHO
Up 15% already on the day - get in while you can at these prices IMHO!
http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/Theo-Fennell-PLC-Final-afxcnf-2436898859.html?x=0 Well positioned for a return to profitability this year:)
going through already - 50k, 10K . Get in while you can at this is a sleeper:)
Considering the current state of the economy - there are a very solid set of results and the company is well positioned to return to profit this year!! Expansion is taking place in a low risk manner looking towards the US and China. I look forward to popping in to the new consession at T3 the next time I am down! Very Satisfied and will look for the SP to rise dramatically on this considering it has been very much oversold over the last few months when I think people were expecting armageddon! GLA
Come on lets see a turnaround in fortunes!!!
not a good day I agree - I think this is still the fallout from JB selling up. I dont think the general retail figures have a direct effect on TFL though. IMHO this is a very very good entry point and had I not already bought in heavily over the last month or so I would be piling in at these levels. DYOR though and dont let me sway you either way. Good info coming out of the company though - returning mails promptly which is good to see.
