Utter nonsense. SPAC will be out soon while rare earths ate at the forefront of the agenda. Also, seeing pictures of the update at the UK plant is very reassuring, this will be the blueprint for US and Germany so needs to be bang on, hence the delay. Remember, COTEC already have a couple of vessels on back order for US. My guess is the expansion comes from US government saying "are you really going to be able to cope with what we can throw at you?? "

The way is see it, in a few years the cream will rise to the top. Only the companies with the most energy efficient and stream lined process will expand and survive, I believe (with $100m of R&D) this will be us. It is taking a hell of a long time and a genuine update of time frames would be appreciated. I thought we would need to be pumping out some end product with some hard numbers for Cotec to get their feasibility study over the line. At the moment we can only hope that things as going to plan behind scenes. I not sure I can bare another presentation with the same diagrams and rhetoric.

Makes you wonder if in fact it is the 2 law firms finalising the MDA on Malawi's behalf (that MKango are footing the bill for) that are cracking open tins or worms all over the place. Not sure how many "finalising the MDA" raises you can get away with.

9 weeks on now... how far away can this be?? Will Dawes thought it was close and wouldnt have commited so much if it wasnt progressing. Maybe just a few tweaks after a read through of Globe's MDA?

This is the problem... just ram an unfavourable MDA through regardless and its worthless, they arnt going to do this to appease impatient shareholders or those that want to make a quick buck.

Looks like we could have our MDA tomorrow if we were to succumb to Malawi's demands.

I guess positives we can take from this are that MKA are negotiating hard for the best possible outcome, something solid that will stick and is tailored for finance.

Can't open that but it's on ministry of mining Facebook page. Basically says "other 2 MDA's are having a problems reaching an agreement, but negotiations are still underway"

Exciting times, things seriously hotting up! Even the Global metals MDA is a huge positive as it shows Malawi are open for mining business. As far as I'm concerned our MDA is a given now, ESHIA rubber stamped, road built, etc etc etc... this will be in the 20s soon.

Surely it would make national headlines in Malawi with the signing of 3 MDA's at once. This could well happen over the weekend before any RNS release.
