Whatever. Genuinely I see JLP as the better option. Make of it what you will. But I really dont see why this is seen as deramping. It's a perfectly understandable opinion. Rational, in fact. I rarely get reasoned responses to my arguments. Just ad hominems. Which says it all.
How does that say that's why I'm here? It just says that I don't care about the share price other than I dont want people to lose money. It felt a totally inconsiderate to just state that I dont care about the share price without that qualification. I know that people are in deep here.
I didnt say thats why I'm here. I am here because I am interested in Kabwe.
It feels like this place needs some balance. Most of the bearish posters on here are just on the wind up.
My theory is that you are into conspiracy theories.
I've told you a couple of times why I'm here. I don't care about the share price other than I dont want people to lose money. I dont think what I say on here makes a blind bit of difference to the share price. It's suspended! I just give my honest opinion.
Why would you need to pay anyone to deramp this stock? Just leave it to management.
I cant see why any LTH's are looking at averaging down here. It would make far more sense hedging with an investment in JLP. Less dependence on Kabwe, and possibly more profit from the Kabwe project. BMR really is nothing more than a shell that owns a license. They have no bargaining chips left due to deadlines imposed and the lack of both capital and skills. They have to do whatever JLP say. Maybe JLP will just slow play things, cause BMR to lose the license and then just pick it up themselves. Nothing AB could do to stop that and JLP might just think it is worth the risk. This seems like a ridiculously bad investment, even at 2p. Good luck to whoever is taking up the placing.
Spot price for Sulphuric acid now is $275 / ton in Zambia. At the beginning of 2016 it was $60. There will be discounts for bulk but you would be doing well to get it at 200. It cant go much higher as you are bumping into territory where it is cheaper to bring it in from SA. $300 is around the tipping point.
Then you will enjoy a happy retirement!
It is sulphuric acid that has tripled in cost. We'll have to wait and see on the process. But it's not a big deal - I'm confident that JLP will select the best process. That's what they do. I was just hypothesising around the reason for the delays.
The markets need a reason for the recovery story. Sure, getting the license back, signing the JV and a placing at 3p will give the share a lift. But then the market will need to see evidence to back up the hope. I'm amazed that people are happy to take an investment view based on absolutely no data other than potential revenue. I'm not suggesting that BMR won't make any money. I genuinely don't know. So I leave it to the speculators.
But I didnt suggest that. I only pointed out that JLP's break-even point is signficantly lower than BMR's. Clearly they would prefer the project to be as profitable as possible.
Troajan - the company with an ultra low value?
Unless that process no longer works. Reagent costs are significantly higher (x3) than when JH designed his process. It cant still be economic as these accounted for 50% of opex at the time. That doesnt factor in the benefit of the Vanadium though - maybe that saves it?
60% of profit? So how much is that then? Hopefully there will be a research note at some point to give everyone a clue. And profit is calculated after deducting JLP's operating contract. It seems very likely that JLP will make far more than BMR from this project. For JLP to win the project doesnt actually need to make a profit. Break-even would see them make a profit. It doesnt make much difference to AB either as long as he can keep drawing a salary.
You should be thanking Leon. His talk got you your license back. I remain of the opinion that the process / flowsheet will be changed. Therefore the plant design will be changed. Which requires quotes from suppliers and signoff from Zema. I also remain of the opinion that the timetable is not a big deal as long as Leon keeps talking with the authorities and demonstrating a sensible and professional approach. There is no point moving the license to someone else if progress is being demonstrated. BMR is now completely dependent on JLP. I'd love to know the terms of the operating contract. I'm sure it's very lucrative for JLP and another way for them to take margin out of the project. It's a complete mystery as to how much money BMR will make and my dislike of the stock is strengthened.
I'm sure AB will be delighted if he ever finds BMR in a tax paying situation.
And my environmental interest includes worrying about the process. Acid / Brine is a dangerous process. Hopefully that's the bit that they have "improved".
Sigh. You've just proved to me that you can be wrong. Obviously there is no way that I can prove it to you. Nothing I have written is remotely unreasonable. Sure, my first post was inflammatory but I'd like you to point out anything else that is not a reasonable contribution to the debate.
