Little pause, should be an exciting last half hour

16% now. R we due some news? My post earlier alluded to shares rising on rumours! Lets hope we get something substantial to keep this going

Tomorrow we have these two mining presentations happening. I would have hoped for some pfs news to give them something to talk about, and that news may still land, there is time.
However, If the Pfs is not ready in time, I am sure they will be talking about it and the potential, which will at least put us on the radar of new investors.
It seems to me if news announcements are any good, the share price often rises on the rumour anyway, so maybe leaving the pfs until after the events will be beneficial to us. And then hopefully if pfs is as good as our CEO has alluded to, the share price rise will be sustained.

Jam, I believe cobalt is a big sticking point in the li-ion battery. But from what I have read, manufactures are constantly adjusting the chemistry to try and phase out this particular ingredient. No idea of exactly what it is used for in the battery, or if it can be replaced with something else. A small percentage of it comes from the democratic republic of congo (I think), which doesnt have a good reputation for looking after the miners.

As a heating engineer I would agree with you there. What makes me mad is when manufacturers claim cop’s of 4-5, which is technically true, but like a cars technical mpg performance, or a bev’s supposed range, a load of rubbish.
We are hoping to start work with a solar assisted heat pump, which is much cheaper to install than ground source, and far more efficient than air source, but it will still be hard to beat the price of nat gas in the depth of winter. It really depends on what happens with the price of electricity as to how economically successful a heat pump is. Will grid storage lithium ion batteries help reduce the cost over time? Combined with wind turbines I am hoping.

I know. It’s depressing looking in. What I can’t get over is that we are on the cusp of one of the biggest changes in history, of which lithium is going to play a crucial role, but nobody cares! There should be a thousand msgs a day posted on here. I am sure people will look back and say “if only we had invested in lithium in 2019”! What gets me is even though every car manufacture is going down the bev route, people still don’t believe it will happen. I heard on the radio this morning that the government has been told that their 2040 ice ban is woefully inadequate. I expect a serious review on this policy soon. On a separate note, Ed Milliband was on the radio this morning talking about heat pumps for heating buildings so I have been told. The whole climate change issue is really starting to get some serious discussion at last. With the Germans starting to secure their supplies (as per the kdnc rns this morning), top up while you can! No ramp intended :-)

Just hope the tunnel goes as planned and doesn’t encounter any problems/take longer thsn expected requiring more money to be raised

Lets hope our funding news gives a better share price reaction than sxx. At least what we are trying to raise is peanuts compared to that project.

Sorry don’t agree. Hydrogen is a non starter. The process is just too inefficient and storing it is too hard. Combined with a very complex drivetrain (which still uses a li-ion battery so good for us anyway), air filtration systems that will need constant servicing as the fuel cells need very pure air supply and also the fact there is nowhere to fill up. You can charge a battery car anywhere, for a fraction of the price of hydrogen. I believe that Hydrogen currently costs a similar amount as petrol or diesel, with no tax on it. How will the government get away with taxing Hydrogen? The cost at the tank will be extortionate once 50% tax gets added to it. At least charging a battery is cheap, so once ev’s are as cheap to buy as ice cars, the government will be able to tax the running of them.

Who new! Half the posts you read, following any article about ev’s, and you get a shed load of people still saying H2 is the way forward. But since when do people know what they want! I think it’s a realisation from the car manufacturers that battery over fuel cell is the way forward, rather than worrying about what they think the end consumer might want. Anyway, it looks like the modern equivalent of vhs vs Betamax has finally been sorted out. Lithium ion batteries with their ever increasing levels of energy densities are without a doubt going to power the world for the forceable future.

What is weird is I just did a dummy buy and sell for £50 worth. Got quoted 25 to buy and 25.025 to sell. Did it twice with HL. Whats all that about?

I am inclined to agree, but if people take them seriously, then they end up working because people believe they work!
If a cup and saucer or whatever it is called has just formed, and if that is a buy signal then people will buy because they think it will go up. And because people buy, it goes up! Question is, what happens at 37!

Is 25.25 close enough for this cup and handle to be formed then? Does it have to stay here for a few days, or shoot straight up?

Unfortunately I have no idea what you are talking about! In layman’s terms, do you expect this to be good or bad for the share price? Or will it make no difference! Thanks

Following the same pattern as yesterday. Good start, followed by steady mid day trading. Will it go ballistic again heading into close of play?
